Sirji it is a mountain warfare.In mountain warfare , forces that resorted in the top of the mountain always has advantage than the forces that occupied the valley.In this case china has an advantage
over India because tibet is at the hand of China.Again your machinery except air support element
is totally useless in mountain warfare.India also know that.So they based brahmos block 3,prahar and shourya etc in the northern sector.And this mountain strike corps is only for offensive operation.
For defensive ops another mechanised forces is based in the north eastern sector.
