Altaf Hussain was shot, was forced into exile with a reward being offered on him wanted dead or alive, his house taken over entirely and a severe crackdown on his party where prominent leaders were tortured in death cells and thousands of supporters/activists murdered extrajudicially. So Imran Khan's case is still looking better after he was stupid enough to leave Government he had in 2 provinces.

You place a ban on Imran Khan and put brakes to all his economic activities and he too will resort to all means available. And do not be fooled into believing that it was AH who did not enjoy support all over Pakistan, it was the establishment which made sure that the aura of AH never left Sindh's Urban Center where they were able to control and subsequently subdue his potential.
