Yh, I guess thats why they call it the 'Spaghetti Junction' UK in general was pretty much built up already prior the induction of the motorway, so they squeezed newer road infrastructure where ever they could without disturbing much of the surroundings.

Actually, instead of creating puzzles at the intersections, the planning engineers should conceive and build more than one additional intersections. Motorists can find his direction at ease with that extra provision.

This type of zigzag intersections in the picture are built where land is not available along other places of the road. Bangladesh, still underdeveloped, has lot of lands.
