This is how PAF Flies

Hi my friend just a off topic Q do we have radar coverage during OBL saga if we have
Did we manage to pick them or not
Thank you
Yes, radar systems were in the vicinity at the time.

Radar systems are not made to operate at full capacity (100%) on 24/7 basis - impractical to say the least; many will be powered down in peacetime situations (25% - 50% active). Additionally, maintenance cycles are in the picture; at any given point in time, some radar systems will be ACTIVE while some can be OFFLINE for inspections. In short, radar coverage is unlikely to be 100% at all times.

Radar systems have their share of emissions when active - invisible waves that will make contact with any object in their path and bounce back to their source - in this way, radar systems can analyze the said object and distinguish it from everyday clutter in the vicinity. If the object is deemed unusual or threatening, the radar system will raise alarm and its operators will alert a potential strike force to investigate.

Americans have developed and fielded numerous airborne and spaceborne assets that can pick on radar emissions, analyze them, and even study composition of radar systems on the surface. In Area 51, Americans developed true replicas of Pakistani radar systems, positioned them in similar pattern as in Pakistan, and then tested them in real-time. When the time for desired operation came, they dispatched helicopters in sheer darkness which produced different sounds than regular types, could absorb and/or scatter radar waves around, and equipped with powerful jamming and nighttime navigation equipment. And of-course, Pakistan wasn't informed - element of surprise. Now connect the dots.

Last, US is far ahead of India in military capabilities, so what it can do, India simply cannot. Pakistani defenses are up to the task for regional threats to say the least, and this matters in the end.

On a positive note, the rotor section of the fallen helicopter fell into our hands which was closely inspected by both Pakistani and Chinese officials but eventually returned to US due to mounting pressure - kuch technical insight hummain bhee mil gai muft mein.

Hi LeGenD
Thx for your detailed and insight reply
I hope you will agree with me once they are inside all the way next to our heart of military
How come they get out so easily after blowing up one their stealth chopper ( if it was stealth )
Any input on that point also will be appreciated
Thank you

. . .
indian airforce used the same tactic to enter balakot region to avoid early detection by radar so this is good for us if Paf increase operations in mountain region

. .
One has to also give credit to the chap flying as GIBS (Guy In the Back Seat) who captured the flight very intelligently without revealing the cockpit, HUD repeater readings, bearings, intercom frequencies and radar modes.
