Bonn government frame work was made by foreigners and Afghan diaspora with little understanding of the situation on the ground. In time it has proven to be very corrupt and dysfunctional. The government in Afghanistan needs to be redone and Taliban have proven they should have a seat.

IMO the Ghani regime should be dissolved and an interim caretaker administration should be set up until a deal with the Taliban is completed.

Pakistani's are delusional sir. No matter how we spin it Taliban are barbaric outdated religious zealots and cunts. Idk why we are validating them but i feel sorry for the 38 million afghans especially the women. Today's Lahore attack is a hallmark of what's going to be our future once Taliban completely take over. Afghan Taliban protect and harbour both BLA and TTP. Atleast we fenced the border but hardtimes are ahead.

Afghanistan has a long history of fighting among itself. Pakistan or any other outside country can not stop this. We must play the hand that is dealt.

The only resolution I see is if that an elected government in Kabul accepts over sight from the Taliban leadership council in Kandahar. Legal issues and some key ministers for defense and foreign policy be picked by the Taliban leadership council.

Pakistan must work to prevent a fight over Kabul. That would be a humanitarian disaster. Then we must work with any new Afghan regime on economic development. This is something the Talib's failed to do in the 90's

Afghanistan under the Taliban in the 90's was comparatively much safer and peaceful then today. Pakistan's terrorism problem was caused by NDS and RAW. Pakistan must be on guard until the political dispensation in Kabul can be settled.

if USA comits to funding(but how can USA be trusted) things will hold for some time

US will commit to fund ANA or this new mobilization militias as long as they are showing any progress. Otherwise funding will stop. Drone support will most likely be part of package.

Noticed that too. If they have accepted (not just tolerated) the Hazara community into their ranks it could explain the Iranian supplied Manpad against the ANA chopper. If the Iranians are backing them, then considering what has been given to the Houthis could end up also in Afghanistan.

This could end up being a threat to any nation that operates drones or helicopters or slow flying CAS aircraft in Afghanistan or even the region. Hopefully PAF intelligence is keeping any eye on this developing potential danger to aircraft.
