you know they didn't kidnap her... so no need to invent fantasy, she was arrested and she 's been bailed out, waiting for extradition.
So yeah... Because X or Y daughter of X or Y powerful guy get arrested for X charges doesn't give you the right to arrest ppl who have nothing to do in this affair...just for the sake of being "funny"...
And if those few Canadians getting arrested in CN are true criminals then why now?
And we both know that If by any means she's being judged, it will take years and years and mostly end up with a fine... So all this fuss for nothing...just because she's the daughter of X...
I wonder if the few Chinese outside of China who "really" get arrested for nothing do get the same treatment... as this Daddy girl who let's face isn't innocent when it comes to "Money"... No one actually in this biz are... So let's not throw flowers and tears to ppl who don't deserve it... for BOTH SIDES. and get innocent ppl involved in this comedy...
It's like Ivanka getting arrested-Bailed out and waiting for extradition in CN for alleged Influence manipulation/Corruption/Taxes/Doing biz with Embargo nations etc... and having the US arresting few Chinese out of nowhere... Ppl don't give a f*ck about those people... and no one should... They played with Fire...they pay for it.
And even you in this scenario will say "Get what she deserve" if it's was the way around.
I don't think anyone on Earth seriously believes that the Meng case has nothing to do with politics.
She was arrested on the same day that Trump negotiated a trade truce with China, right as America was pressuring their allies to stay away from Huawei. It is soaked in politics from top to bottom.
And Trump himself made it clear that her arrest was to be used as a "bargaining chip" in the trade war.
Arresting someone to use as a bargaining chip for a trade negotiation is political kidnapping. And this is only scratching the surface of the retribution.
As for this Girl...she's the Head of a Company who happen to cross the International law on a particular matter...
Iran sanctions are "international law" now?
Actually the UNSC agreed to lift the sanctions on Iran. The current sanctions on Iran are a unilateral American reversal of the Iran deal and are a violation of international law.
And we both know that If by any means she's being judged, it will take years and years and mostly end up with a fine...
If it ends up with a fine it doesn't matter, the point has already been made. The US and Canada have made it clear that kidnapping foreign citizens for the purposes of trade negotiations is now fair game.
