Small traders find it impossible to get any payments of their supplies.

i heard kish islands are amazing! as for business i think they have a good iron and steel industry so you can look for scrap!

they also import and export fruit and vegatable so can also explore it!

idk if they import animal fodders from Pakistan ,i export fodders but have never exported to iran and never heard anyone doing business with iran so might be an worth explorting

I am a tax payer and strictly banking only person..even among the family I give debit and credit by bank only. I always shop and eat at places which can take debit/credit cards. And I forced my 65+ Mom to learn e-banking and mobile banking.

Everyone is not like you... Less educated small scale traders, ship rice and mango and later visit Iran to followup payments.

they never get their payments in this way..I know many who lost money in trading with Iran..unless you have powerful family links in Iran...that is why Afghans and illegal central Asian in Karachi are dominating Iran trade..they import export and then settle the payment by hawala / Hundi.

And now since the sanctions have hit...might have to cancel the trip all together...or Until when Pakistan and Iran figure out to use bit coin for trade settlement.

Past sanctions were a joke and hogwash... let's wait and see, this time Trump has put in lot of facial expressions in his speech.

The sanctions were a bad deal..no doubt..it emboldened Iran to think like a knight who bought american empire down to its knees..and engage in reckless conduct..for the first time in history..Iran showed naked aggression by arming Houtis with long range rockets to fire over KSA..This was literally act of war..and US + its allies responded..tough days ahead for Iran..
