They Pump $15 Billion A Year Into Bangladesh's Economy — But At What Cost?

I know two death in my area.. Both of them died due to heavy weight after going to Saudi and UAE. Most of the poor people gain weight after going abroad.
How will overworked labourers gain weight in such conditions? It's difficult to over eat in hot countries. You know that is the reason we feel less hungry in summer. In cold countries or winter we eat more to maintain our body temperature up. When you work like slaves in middle eastern heat, you are more prone to cardiac arrest or strokes. If you go to the middle east, you step out of air conditioned rooms. You will notice that the heat is unbearable in the day. You Bangladeshis don't even know basic stuff. And you claim to be Japanese hahaha.
Maybe you should try migrating to gulf and try it out for yourself.
State religion means jack.. its like state animal etc.
Our constitution starts with Secularism and all law ensures that equality.
Secular country with state religion. Wow nice.

You Bangladeshis are unique naamunas. You should try being comedians.

Do you see any fat Bangladeshi shaikhs in this video? Be reasonable.

As to why you see fat arab shaikhs in the gulf. Because they eat red meat 3-4 times a day. Sit in their ac homes, offices and cars.

Poor don't have that luxury.

Not everybody is construction worker.. there are driver, gardener, homemaker, sales person, security guards where sitting is a major part of their job.

Salesmen are usually filipinos. Security Guards are usually pathans. People from kerala have low end corporate jobs. Bangladeshis mostly work as labourers. Have you ever left Bangladesh?
Do you even think before posting? Food isn't cheap in the middle east. Petrol is.
They import their food.

Anyway more Bangladeshis should go to the gulf to gain height and weight. It's good for you.

As far as I know BD people are not preferred in construction job.. I been to Dubai, Iran for short trip..
You have no clue how many small shops are owned by Bangladeshis who prefer BD sales person

Most of the people died of heart attack due to sudden change of food habit and gaining extra weight once they migrate to higher income country.

Bangladesh has no muslim cause. You should ask PK to merge with India as they along with Indian muslims are the only Thikedar of muslim ummah.

The mortality rate in Bangladesh 5 per 1000 people, however among the expatriates in the ME it is 0.35 per 1000. This number is much lower than the overall mortality rate in Bangladesh, but about 3 times higher than the same age group working and living in Bangladesh. This age group is the most resilient age group when facing stress, disease, and external environmental factors such as heat and cold.

No one forced them to go ME for a living, most of them paid money upfront for Visa.

When I was in Dubai the first time, I felt the heat in summer. Stepping outside the airport around 3pm local time felt like I opened the oven door, even at 11pm the temperature was hovering around 41 degrees (105 degrees Fahrenheit).

3,480 Bangladeshi workers died abroad in 2017. Almost all of them between 25-34 age group. Almost all the death were caused by stroke and heart attack induced by heat.

http://www.newagebd.net/article/32965/3480-bangladeshi-workers-died-abroad-in-2017

Altogether 29,958 migrant workers have returned dead since 2005. The government has no statistics for dead workers buried overseas.

$400 a month just might be $100-$150 more a month in pay difference with pay in Bangladesh which is not much unless they are provided with accommodation, food, transport and plane fare. This difference is not worth working in 105-110 degrees Farenheit.
It’s easy to say the difference is 100-150$ but in reality... the Padma bridge construction labors for ex earns about 5000tk... not a lot...
Yeah to an average worker this might be enough to move abroad for labor work but they forget living expense abroad is also just as high

5000 Taka a month?

Garments minimum wage is 8000 Taka a month?

Chinese companies giving 300 tala a day for 10-12 hour work. So the labors are making 7500 taka to 9000 taka a month. Not that much.
300 taka is a standard for day laborer. they are not permanent employee and none of the construction company keep permanent labor. Why are we expecting chinese contractor to do anything different. They are here only for 3 years. And 10-12 hours claim is bull$hit... its even hard to get 8 hours from a day laborer.

yeah in one chinese video one bengali labour said that he got 5000 or something... not sure if it's without overtime or something... the video was posted in one of the pages in this forum... don't remember which
