'They are Northeastern people not Bangladeshis', says Karnataka Home Minister

Why ask him ?

Ask 3.1 million of your kind in India...
Tell me where to find them...

I don't know man, ask her family.

It's sad she was killed, it should've been her stupid father.
She was killed when they were crossing to Bangladesh from rapestan. Womens don't want to live in rapestan, even don't want to born there, its gender ratio is a good proof. :fie:

.
Are you dumb like @Nilgiri?

Karnataka is one of the richest states in the whole of India and would be a PRIME target of "BD Illegals".
What rest of S India gets, Karnataka would also have.
Unless the "BD Illegals" somehow are avoiding Karnataka.:cheesy:

Actually it makes some sense because locals don't speak Hindi there. For menial jobs in any country or state, only local language is the option.

Wow! I thought there are roads through which she can travel. Did they tell you there are no roads or airways connecting BD and India that her family have to pole vault through the fence?

Some logic

Politicians make comments, sometimes they say crazy shat like these.

If India goes corrupt because a politician says something wrong, then we wouldn't exist.

Anyway, I'll let you lot have your moment on a politicians tongue slip.
Who is more believable? An Indian Minister or random PDF posters(few of whom are borderline genocidal)?
Dear friend, I am an inhabitant of NE India, and being involved in public service over a number of years I am a first hand witness to the countless Chakmas/Marmas and the other tribal Buddhist communities that had to flee BD having lost it all. You only have to listen to their grim tales to realise the enormity of it all. Had you been staying in BD and living amongst them, perhaps you would have understood.

And I won't even start on the Hindus.

Arunachal e Chakma ar Hajong der kotha jene dekhben, sob bujhte parben.
I have lived in Chittagong. Always had Chakma or Marma classmates. I have seen them living. Except some off incident they haven't faced any prosecution. There may have been some incidents before Hill Tracts peace accord was signed. But that time a full scale insurgency was going on. Since then things have been peaceful. They have reservation in govt jobs in Bangladesh.

And Hindus are probably better off than the Majority in Bangladesh. Don't start on this. Because you will have nothing to say. Hindu Population of Bangladesh have been steadily increasing since the first census of 1974. Percentage have slightly gone down, because Hindus were more literate so they had lower birth rate and some Hindu Muslim love marriage. Few went to India and few actually returned from India as well seeing that it is not the land of milk and honey like it was stated to be.

You can't find any genocide happened in Bangladesh soil since it's independence. Don't lump us with you guys who are proud of mob lynchings.

Ask 3.1 million of your kind in India...
Wasn't it like 60 million before? Did you kill all of them?

India hunger Index is worse than Burundi or Mozambique but Bangladeshis want to move to there illegally. Vedic logic.

.
What nonsense , who thinks north eastern ppl are Bangladeshi ?

The Jumma people as you like to call them were forcibly driven away from their homes, their lands and property confiscated to implement state projects. Their womenfolks had to bear the brunt of your army's atrocities, no wonder that some of them chose to pick up arms. Even then, you made no distinctions between the militants and those who remain peaceful. Your army massacred them regardless.

It is only recently that you have started to provide them education in their own languages. But this half baked measure count for nothing as BD is still to implement the Chittagong Peace Accord even after 22 long years while they continue to be unrecognized by your constitution.

You call the Indians rapestanis, let me tell you that CHT is known as rapist's paradise courtesy your BD army. Remember Kalpana Chakma and many like her.

Tell me where to find them...

Go near India Bangladesh border, you might see them pole-vaulting over the fence...

What is more believable...UN Vetted data or statements by a politician ?

If you say it is the latter, then there is little wonder why you gullible lots are fooled easily by BAL/SHW propaganda @SOUTHie

India does better than Bangladesh in HDI/GDP per capital and have less undernourished population...

Basically wherever BBS can't fudge their data easily..

Bangladeshis generally do menial jobs in India and contribute to the economy through hard work in exchange for meagre wages
, whereas most Indians are gainfully employed in attractive jobs in Bangladesh, earning handsomely and remitting millions of dollars to India.

That's one....In India you can name hundreds every year. Read what happens in Kashmir sometimes.
And unless the rape is brutal no one even bats an eye in India.

They have to learn Bangla. It is our official language. Just like Tibetans have to learn Mandarin. Language is an integral part of Bangladeshi identity. Situation in hill tracts is very peaceful now. More and more tribal people are moving in Dhaka and other cities for work. Its natural some Bengalis will move to Hill tracts too. Since only these areas have some space in our densely populated country. If this keep happening for a decade or two there won't be any necessity of military presence there.

I think it's a matter of perception. For example, you can't accept it. So, you take words of a Minister who is not even a concerned person on the matter. Have you taken words of our Union ministers who talk about the issue of illegal immigrants and their words matter than a South Indian state minister?

And then we have UN data. Which one would you pick?

So how many Bangladeshis are in Karnatka according to UN?
Besides when did 3.1million became the accepted figure? Wasn't it like 60million?

Basically wherever BBS can't fudge their data easily..
Why India's performance is worse than North Korea's?
BBS does NK stats now?
Of course Indian will say that North Korea hides their slums. In this case, perhaps N.Korea technology has surpassed all the world, because they can cheat the US satellites.

Because we take you skilled guys and you take our worst lot.

Well, see. They have a 6page+ thread running on it.

Indian propaganda broken by Karnataka Home Minister. Yikes!! It's that easy.

Look, I don't deny the presence of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh in India. But I question the number, which was stated to be 60million back then. Now it has come down to 3.1million. I wonder how?

They have to learn Bangla.
They do not have to if they don't wish to. This ethno-fascism is outright deplorable. They are a group with different culture, traditions and practices and as a democratic nation it is your responsibility as majority to not enforce your beliefs upon them.

Do you know what binds India's northeast together, a place your kind often deride as being less developed yet try to crawl in at the first opportunity. It is the government's policy of recognizing the uniqueness of each tribal groups and allowing them the opportunity to self govern themselves.

As a result, you have the autonomous councils for the Bodos, Dimasas and the Karbis among others. And that is precisely what differentiates Bangladesh from India.

Though the violence has gown down it's far from peaceful. It's still listed as a travel warning. There's still conflict among tribal political groups, if it was still very peaceful the military should have left by now.

Though it's certainly important that they learn Bangla the problem is that being instructed in a language you don't know creates some trouble. Which is why it was a good step for the government to introduce their primary education in their native languages. They have to learn Bangla of course, it's the main language. What's wrong with being bilingual? How else will they communicate with the Bengali population? I certainly agree that they have a right to their traditions and cultures but refusing to learn Bangla? That's only going to make their situation the same.
