It is a blatant lie that our fellow BD users are spreading. Buddhists and Hindus flee/had fled Bangladesh after facing immense religious persecution and not due to economic opportunities, and none of them will ever have a fleeting thought about returning back permanently. Though many of them do visit as tourists as they have extended relatives in BD and some return to revisit their nostalgia and their desher bari(ancestral house) if they were not razed already.

There hasn't been any minority prosecution in Bangladesh in it's history.

There has been one or two incidents where perpetrators were caught and put behind bars in a very short time.

OK. Maharashtra has around 400 billion US dollars GDP in nominal for this year and a population of 120 million, which gives GDP/capita of just over 3,300 US dollars
Do you have any figures of how much Mumbai's GDP is as it must be much more 100 billion US dollars?
Karnataka GDP/capita is nearly 3,000 dollars for this year, and so taking out Mumbai that has inflated GDP due to the location of a lot of Indian firms then Karnataka is richer than Maharashtra.

Mumbai - $310 billion
Bangalaru - $110 billion dollars.

So if we were to take out both capitals then Karnataka as a state would be richer than Maharashtra.

Dear friend, I am an inhabitant of NE India, and being involved in public service over a number of years I am a first hand witness to the countless Chakmas/Marmas and the other tribal Buddhist communities that had to flee BD having lost it all. You only have to listen to their grim tales to realise the enormity of it all. Had you been staying in BD and living amongst them, perhaps you would have understood.

And I won't even start on the Hindus.
