I agree, the debate on the existence of God is outside the realm of Science. It is a question of Faith, not Science.

Personally, if I die of old age without having this question answered, I will be happy. I love the mysterious nature of the universe. All that matters to me in the end is being a good person and treating other people kindly, I'm not worried about the rest.

While debating, early Islamic scholars came to the conclusion that all "creation explanations" fall under four options.

1. The universe was created out of nothing.
2. The universe created itself.
3. The universe was created by something else created.
4. The universe was created by something uncreated.

1. 0 + 0 does not equal 1. Something cannot be created from nothing.

2. Your mother cannot give birth to herself, everything has an origin.

3. This option leads to an endless paradox.

4. This is the only logical option. Creation requires time and space, both of these dimensions must have had an origin, hence why, the "creator" of these two dimensions can be described as "uncreated", something incomprehensible to our mind.
Now we can derive attributes for this "creator", here are some examples:

• As an example, there are 10^80 atoms in our universe that form everything we see. Splitting one tiny atom leads to a colossal release of energy. Thus the creator must be powerful.
• We have "rules and laws" in our universe, the law of gravity is one such example. A law giver implies intelligence.
• We know it must be eternal, because it was not brought into being.

As you can see, these attributes parallel with the monotheistic traditions on who and what "God" is.

Yesterday I came Across a very small but important Video in Which Steven Hawking (Late) Said that there is no God , No life After Death and no Fate .

Before his death , in his last book which comes out recently he also repeat the same claims about God and Possibility of Highly intelligent Alien life .. I wonder on what Basis he made this claim ? I respect the man and his work , lectures and research but it gives a vibe that his Opinion about God is a little biased which may ( a huge MAY ) be related to his paralyses and the condition he spend half his life , Any person suffering from such condition can easily curse God , or completely deny his Existence to let him/her or his creation suffer ..I am pretty sure by now the late Steven Hawking would know if there is a God or not on the other side , if there is a fate or after life .

When we die, what happened to our consciousness ? That part/thing that makes us ( us ) is it just gone into non existent ? or it remain in some form of energy in the cosmos ? Is soul a real Thing ? If yes than Is it connected to some higher form of Power ? and if No, than without a Soul body functions and when it stops it die so isn't it possible to say that if we can somehow keep our Decaying body to keep working even after 80-100 years , by replacing or using surgical procedures to heal our organs means we can have a Eternal life ? ? but every living thing that born's will eventually Die..

Scientist says that Our universe will have drastic changes in next few billion years , in fact the book Stages of Universe and its decaying process state that 10^92 years even Black holes will die .. but there comes a question in mind that these scientist use this ridiculously big numbers to predict future but at the same time they say , that if we didn't do measures to stop Global warming in few decades than it will be too late to even reverse the effects of it .. so does it means that the world will die in next 1000 years ? or at least will become Hot enough to melt the huge chunk on ICE in North pole increase the sea levels and drowning many countries , the amount of human population and the speed we are using our natural resources I doubt that in next 1000 years the world or humans can survive ..So will God (if he is out there) will do a compulsive intervention ? Will he comes to Help the Humanity or the world to protect it from its worse enemy which is humans themselves ? or Will God just Let it happen ?

what does science say about all that, and where does science fit in all that ?

Well, the opinion about existence & non-existence of God will always be biased because of personal belief and experience of person. You have solid point here that maybe he prayed but his prayers didn't got answered, so he concluded that there's no god. As per current knowledge and technology of mankind, you can't prove non-existence of God beyond doubts. So, this argument and counter argument will continue between believer and non-believer of God will continue to for foreseeable future.

Although, it's bit long article but it's trying to re-explore the meaning of Quran (or other holy books) under light of advancement in science and technology and new found knowledge about things. We have lost this trait and stuck with translation/interpretations done by people whose imagination was limited to knowledge and advancements in their time period.

The question is not about God wanting to know how 'good' humans are, but about whether God exist. Or to use your analogy, if your employees know if YOU exist.

If you want your employees to know if you are real, you do not have someone else tell your employees that you exist. You go in front of them. Whether they are 'good' workers or not -- is not the point.

The point is if YOU exist.

One has to have faith in his revelation (the Holy Quran) in order to believe his existence. If He revealed Himself there wouldn't be any need for the Holy Quran or the Prophets. If He wanted He could have turned everyone into a believer, all He had to do was physically reveal Himself but that would have defeated the very purpose of creation. He will never physically reveal Himself yet He wants His servants to believe His existence and the divine reward is only for those who can overcome this challenge.

Since Allah is not cruel to His creation, this is a very simple and basic test. You only fail it by ignoring the truth that faces you.

On the Day of Judgement, Justice will be restored to the point that if a goat that has horns has injured a goat without horns, the one without will be given horns so it can take its revenge. After that, they will be turned to dust. Not only that, every living being is born with an innate sense of there being a Creator, and expresses His remembrance in a way that we cannot perceive.

Mankind is special in that we have been given a choice. And because of that choice we have Judgement and then either rewards in Heaven or punishment in Hell. And if the basic contract of believing in one God is unfulfilled, then that punishment is eternal. The rewards in Heaven are also eternal.

Initially, these Messengers presented miracles as proof of their Divine appointment. Now, after Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the Holy Quran is an ever lasting miracle that invites us to believe in life after death.

Astrologists of last 200 or so years are modern day magicians, and Science is the new religion. Anyone who questions science is shot down yet rarely scientists believe in each others' theories.

This muslim mathematician has built a model of the earth, heavens and hells based on the Holy Quran and Hadith. Patience required to watch (and absorb) all the videos, and there are a few. Start from Episode 1 but posting Episode 8 below as it shows the overall structure of the 'universe'. Episode 10 shows the Hell (between the 7 earths).

The one ingredient which they will never be able to create to bring a dead to consciousness is soul. Heck even they will never be able to prove that a soul exists. So we shouldn't expect physicists or other scientists to prove a much much powerful and highest Being, Who isn't even bound to follow physics rules through science.

Anyone can claim to be a 'messenger' from whatever god.

An 'afterlife' is a bit of a misnomer. Death is the true afterlife. It is actually another life after this one that we seek. And why do we seek another life? Because ultimately, we are terrified that there is a finality to our existence. We are terrified that death is truly the end. So we invented the notion of an 'afterlife' or another life after this one. The proof for the afterlife is EQUALLY as important as the search for God, and so far, the proof for an afterlife is as fruitless as the search for God.

Its funny that many of the lectures or Videos related to world and how Life Origin in world has this one particular statement in abundance " and Than something happen " .. I remember watching a Documentary about Life Origin and it was about how Life could have originated from Single cell Organism , and than something happen .. than there were many Extinction level events , but once again Something happen and life continues , Why Science is still unable to explain what is that " Something Happen " and why did that Something Happen in the first place ? ? ?

-There was nothing than Something happen that trigger the Big bang .
-World was a giant Lava boiling Planet than something happen and created Single cell life forms in deep water.
-There were many Extinction level Event that possible wipe every life form but your guessed it Something happen and life Continues .

What is this Something that keep happening so precisely that it always make condition perfect for human life to exist and thrive ? I mean come on, Life would end in a instant if one Gamma Ray burst happen few thousand light years from us .. but Something Happen that keep preventing it .
