The word "Shaheed" and dead Indian soldiers

Yes it is Arabic.

Coming directly from the sacred book of Quran, which almost all Muslims around the world read every day.

The word is mostly used for the Muslim soldiers or persons who sacrifice their lives for sake of Allah and in witness of His oneness.

Now that completely contradicts Hindu teachings.

Indian media should have done a bit of research before creating "fake Shaheeds" out of their dead hindu soldiers by blindly copying and thinking this would somehow increase status of their dead soldiers.
I just asked what is the word for "shaheed" in urdu?o_O

. . .
If i do know Urdu then why the hell i would aksed you!!!

Urdu language was evolved by combining several langauges several hundred years ago so that soldiers from many nationalities could understand each other.

Therefore, you'll find words from turkish, persian, arabic, punjabi, pashto and several other languages in it.

As far as the word "Shaheed" is concerned, Muslims all over the world - be it Indonesian, Turkish, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Arab - use it to honor their soldiers who laid their lives in witness of oneness of Allah. Strictly in religious context and not in linguistic context.

Arabic language is read by all Muslims around the world, because all their prayers and their sacred book is in Arabic.

Therefore usage of this word for dead hindu soldiers makes absolutely no sense, because it contradicts the core religious values of Hindus.

.
This is a very stupid question to be honest, just shows that you know nothing about the Urdu language.

Go read about it first and then come back...

Read post #154 to understand how ridiculous you sound by this line of argument,

You want to tell me that your hindu soldiers died for Allah and to be witness of His oneness? Therefore they should be called "Shaheed"?

There are no religious value in Hinduism since Hinduism is not a religion.
Thats why we can use our official language words wherever we want.

I just want to tell you that since india is a secular country, we can use our official language words wherever we want.

Interesting, who is a "Hindu" then? Is he/she someone who believes in "Oneness" of Allah?

Because the word "Shaheed" is directly related to that context.
