Could be due to clauses UAE is looking thru. Some clauses are just better to leave than others you never know.. Maybe UAE could be looking for better alternatives and there are better alternatives out of there today.. TFX, j20, MIUS, Checkmate and you name it.

Sisi had good relations with Trump but not Biden whereas Sisi has good relations with Macron and Italy. Alot of people liked to diss Trump but at the end of the day he was better than Biden when it comes to US foreign relations. Biden came out pushing friends away in the beginning and handing everything to china without them working for it. I think all his human rights bs was just hypocritical but he has slowed down with that currently

UAE is looking at customised options. They don't want anything limited. An example is like the Rafales sold to India and Qatar.

but Germany blocked MTU Engine to Turkey ..... We are waiting for indigenous BATU Engine to be ready in 2024


on the other hand , HURJET , T-929 , MIUS and MMU have no Engine problem

T-929 and MIUS will use Ukranian Engine
HURJET will use American GE F-404-GE-102 turbofan Engine for prototypes
MMU will use American GE F110 turbofan Engine for prototypes

Turkey has 30 years experience in aviation Engines
and Turkish TS-1400 , TS-3000 turboshaft Engines also TR-MOTOR and TF-6000 turbofan Engines are under development .... until 2030 all those Engines will be ready

We dont need flying sheet F-35 with many problems ... We have our own unmanned stealth Fighter Jet project
even Germany did not buy American flying sheet F-35 and Germany-France have started developing their own stealth Fighter Jet
also The UK reduced its F-35 order from 138 to 48 and The UK focused on UCAV technology




btw 10 Turkish Companies produce most critical parts of the F-35 including Fuselage
( only Turkey , because of high quality Turkish standard )
