The US Military is EVERYWHERE

As an American I agree with your take. We spend more then any nation on our healthcare. The care is mostly top notch, some of the greatest doctors and best tech. But goddamn the cost. A more efficient healthcare system would go a long way. However, we spend way to much on our military too. The military also need to be more efficient as well. To much money is being wasted for no gain. It's not easy to do but I have hope eventually we'll get there.

calling for an Ambulance might cost you based on the distance from where they pick you to the hospital, of course, you don't have to pay right away but it will be added to your bill once and if you are discharged from the hospital, why you think Americans buy generic pills from Walmart and do other things for flu, fever and other remedies rather than going to the hospital because they know it will break their budget and God forbids if someone gets a serious disease with a horrible Insurance than they are doom.

I see.

And there was a recent thread about a Pakistan-origin American cancer doctor who for years had run his cancer clinic with minimal charges for the patients. The doctor retired. Maybe you know of this.

I heard but not dig much into it, but if he did that then it's Sadqa-e-Jariya for himself, and a huge relief for those American he gives relief in bills.

I'll whatever it takes, but many doctors in the US run clinics with very reduced fees and the hospitals just won't send you a bill. They usually have a nurse who would go through the insurance and other cost with you and get a payment plan. Even if you don't have insurance or money they will still give you the care you need.
