A devastating military plane crash occurred on 25 February 2025, in Omdurman Sudan, resulting in loss of at least 46 lives. Incident involved a Sudanese military Antonov aircraft that crashed during takeoff from Wadi Seidna Air Base located about 22 kilometers north of Khartoum. Plane which was on a military mission crashed into a residential area in the Karrari district causing widespread destruction and injuring 10 others.
