the urdu language script learning thread

leter on may be you started reading the history from hinduvata books who paint every single Muslim ruler as entirely evil . I dont think muslim rulers were any different than any other rulers in past as we judge past incident based on our current modern concept of right or wrong. There was time when slavery was considered norm and marriages at very early age of 15/16 were common and they seem wrong concept in modern world

yeah except that u died because u wont change your faith, otherwise everything was the same

I dont know what sources you are reading. I am not denying that Muslim rulers were not completely saint but they were not as evil as pained by most Hindu historian for their political agenda of Hindu nationalism which is based on hatred for anything Muslims but still we have some sane voices in your country exposing the lies and exaggeration

aaur agar jindgahi main rajia se shadi howe tu uss ka naam bigaar dein ghey :D
but ..i dont know why they dont call their zee tv as jee tv :P

why is that that zee word cannot be pronounced by their tongue ? even if they dont have thsi alphabet it can be learn hwo to pronounce z word correct instaed of replacing it with G or J

I am sure there are more people in India who can pronounce Z today than the whole population of pakistan,it is all about learning it in school. Now they learn Z in english and hence they can say,but even i love saying J instead of Z.

Probably... The pronounciation is different even when you are speaking the same words.. Also i wonder why Indians think Pakistanis speak like hyderabadis or ppl from UP..

I have heard Pak Punjabis speak and like all other punjabis, they speak all languages in Panjabi.

Pak Urdu is not "punjabised"... Even the punjabis speak the same Urdu but the rural accent would be different in any case., the same goes for all ethnic groups of Pakistan...

Punjab itself has different dialects, languages etx.. Seriki is different from Punjabi.., potohari is different from Punjabi, hazarwals have a different language... Etc.. Indians can't understand the diversity we have in Punjab alone ...and not just linguistically but ethnically Aswell.

Ethnic diversity is a big myth, barring Pashtuns & Baloch, there is not much diversity.

Gurmukhi & devnagri are similar

Some notes on Quam-i-Tarana
Some more
Most think it is Urdu because the words came into use post-facto the national anthem.

Same language different literary registers, some different loan words.

So your roots are in Hyderabad! Nice

1.Beside Jagannath Azad, Jinnah had elevated another Hindu. Jagannath Modol was from SC and a Bengali. Jinnah had appointed him the minister for law and parliamentary affairs in the British Indian cabinet under Nehru in the ML quota. Late he appointed him to preside over the CA that swore in Jinnah into the office of GG.

2. As kids in E Bengal we used sing another national anthem which was quite easy for Urdu as well as Bengali speaking people. This was not considered when adopting the Persianized anthem which is beautiful and meaningful - if you know the meaning. But I doubt if the majority of Pakistani kids understand what they are singing.

I am a punjabi and my grandpa was a scholar in urdu,we are equal at ease in any language, since we can manage sanskrit as well as farsi, even though we love talking only in our village punjabi.

56 and all is too much man,If i start counting like this there will be 5600 dialects in India.

I want Ram Puniyani's time machine,please
You can borrow the time machine of those hinduvata historian who witnessed every single conversion in 7th century and motive behind it and not only that but they also witnessed the intention of inavders behind destruction of every single temple. Read what time machine or research of Richard Eaton say

‘It’s a myth that Muslim rulers destroyed thousands of temples’ | Tehelka - Investigations, Latest News, Politics, Analysis, Blogs, Culture, Photos, Videos, Podcasts

yeah except that u died because u wont change your faith, otherwise everything was the same
Yea sure Hindu people was given only two option by Muslim rulers..to die or to accept Islam
Since Hindus preferred to die instead of accepting Islam thats why there exist no Hindus and its false that 827,578,868 Hindus still reside in India :D

No No, my great grandfather was merely employed by the Nizam of Hyderabad. He wasn't actually from there.

He was from North-west part of Pakistani Punjab.

Khushab District - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Well nobody in Hyderabad is actually from Hyderabad. Except may be for a few thousand in the fort area or so, almost everyone is a migrant :) If not the Nizams, the Qutub Shahis brought them to populate the city.
