THE UPCOMING BATTLEGROUND: NA120 PMLN vs PTI

Just Two questions.

1. How does NADRA know who is anti PML(N) voter to block their CNIC?
2. Can a person whose CNIC is blocked ineligible to vote?

No one in the polling both checks if CNIC is blocked or not. They just check if the voter has CNIC or not.

1. Local party representatives collect such information from Muhallas, and provide it to the higher ups in party who then provide it to NADRA.

2. Voter lists do not contain the names and CNICs of blocked individuals.

Maryam has been told by my friend (and her first cousin) explicitly that PML is going to lose this seat - For Sure!

That's right, there are many people in PMLN who are suspecting that they will lose NA120 based on the local population's inclination towards PTI. But what to do with the planned rigging?

Now I hope you guys (@PakSword @Verve @El_Swordsmen @Farah Sohail @mingle and @Moonlight) believe about the groupings in PMLN that I had been saying since April 2017; after hearing Nisar's interview - it cannot get any clearer than this. Only thing more clearer can be if Shahbaz says exactly what Nisar stated, but he will never do that as he still has an outside chance to become PM.

Issue in NA120 is that Shahbaz's handpicked Maula Jutts of Bureaucracy are still helping Kulsoom, as irony is that Shahbaz can't afford her losing nor winning - total catch 22 for him.

In last dinner at Jati Umra that failed to convince Hamza (read Shahbaz) and where someone else was more vocal re the mess that Nawaz has created - yes, it was the same person who Maryam & Kulsoom hates like anything, and after dinner meeting was attended by entire $har clan, Nawaz family complained that Shahbaz family has representation in both Provincial and National Assembly; and even if this ticket is given to Shahbaz then what is our role (exact words were "tou hum boriya bistar utha ke kahin chaley jatey hain, aap hi karein hakumat and sambhalien party bhi ").

If everything pans out as I am envisioning based on tons of meetings and information on my Pakistan and London's visits in last few weeks, there will be a splinter group as well; which will fly away as well. It's not about Nawaz family being history; now the choice for present MNA's and MPA's is to chose which of the three options to exercise.

So all in all Rigging and Blatant Rigging is only way out of Dilon or whatever @mingle says ki party is over, they will lose UCs in PP140 around 70%, while in PP139 it is 60% PML - btw Maryam has been told by my friend (and her first cousin) explicitly that PML is going to lose this seat - For Sure!

Loss of NA-120 should be a fatal blow for Maryam. Oh the irony.

Btw, you've had inside information of split in the party, I had predicted it last year that whenever NS gets rooted the party will break - this was in light of Maryam going for the throne. Many N supporters will not vote for Maryam however they would have for Shahbaz.

Nisar is right ... His message to MNAs and MPAs is one of survival. Shun the Shariffs will be called for within PML soon enough.

As for current PM, his flight (literally, with PAF) is one unmistakable message. He knows he's in deep sh!t himself and it's better to warm up to Establishment. Any news on his reported conflict with Maryam's cabinet?

Does the establishment even exist??!?

Don't know what others term as Establishment, my definition re it always been, that Establishment compromises of Army, Judiciary & Bureacracy.

As for bureaucracy, they have had the best 70 years in Pakistan - never faced any wrath, any movement and yet minted trillions in all these years.

Their modus operandi is pure perfection - their model was adopted to some extent by two PA COAS as well in recent times; Gen Aslam Beg and Gen Ashfaq Kiyani ;)

I don't think she said that but still funny

Women voters can be the difference, PTI should make sure to have polling agents in all women polling stations.

Can't seem to find pic of posters inscribed:

Gosht bhi Khotey ka,
Vote bhi Khotey ka,

Aik baari phir sey bolo,

Dekho dekho kaun aaya,
Sher aya Sher aya

The above posters were put up in Mazang area, if any respected member can find the pic of those posters please post. Thanks in advance!

Btw going rate by PMLN for each vote in UC's under PP139 is Rs.6,500 and in UC's under PP140 Rs.5,000.

Some opportunity for voters to keep the Paris as is and get some money in return and let their families enjoy arsenic water throughout their lives.

So if one assumes that Kulsoom gets 100,000 votes in this election, the total outlay of PMLN would be 57.5 crore for buying votes (50% from each PP139 & 140), whereas total projects approved for this constituency amounts to Rs1 billion and 13 crores.

This effectively means that PMLN uses margin of 50% kickbacks for distribution between its MPAs, MNAs and Contractors. Not a bad business model - eh?

Shahbaz, Hamza ‘avoiding’ Kulsoom’s campaign

LAHORE: Though Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif along with his son MNA Hamza is apparently ensuring they stay out of the country till the NA-120 by-poll, his niece Maryam Nawaz insists “the whole family” is supporting her in the campaign for her mother Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. An official told Dawn that Shahbaz Sharif would be returning from London on Thursday (today) morning and leaving for Turkey probably the same day.

“The chief minister will return from Turkey on Sunday evening (after the polling in NA-120 is over),” he said. Shahbaz had extended his stay in London in connection with a health conference there, but the sources believe he did not want to be blamed by the opposition for use of state resources by Maryam in the campaign for her mother who is in London for treatment of lymphoma (throat cancer).

Before Maryam kicked off NA-120 campaign, Shahbaz’s son Hamza, who is considered his deputy in the province, left for London, allowing ‘full liberty’ to her to look after the affairs in the constituency.

“Hamza too will return once the election in NA-120 is over,” a source said.

Hamza had been supervising all by-poll campaigns in the province during the last four years, except that of NA-120.

“I am representing the whole Sharif family. My father (Nawaz Sharif) and uncle (Shahbaz Sharif) are out of country but they are supporting me. I had an experience of running the campaign for my father in NA-120. Now my mother’s campaign is being run by the people of the constituency,” she told reporters after meeting with Jamiat Ulma-i-Pakistan president Pir Ijaz Hashmi here on Wednesday.

Maryam reacted sharply when asked about use of state resources in the by-poll campaign. “Which state resources are used...tell me. Do not find excuses and compete with us,” she retorted.

The source, however, said there had been standing instructions to all his ministers from Shahbaz to extend ‘full cooperation’ to Maryam in the campaign.

Not only federal ministers (of her media team) like Talal Chaudhry, Daniyal Aziz and Marrium Auranzeb, and MNA Shaista Pervaiz Malik are accompanying Maryam in the campaign, some provincial ministers including Bilal Yasin, Khwaja Imran Nazir and Zaeem Qadri, besides MPAs Hina Pervaiz Butt, Majid Zahoor and Waheed Gull are also on the forefront.

The Election Commission has served notices to Federal Commerce Minister Pervaiz Malik, Punjab Food Minister Bilawal Yasin and MPA Majid Zahoor for violating its code of conduct but they appeared defiant.

NISAR’S REMARKS: Maryam Nawaz chose not to comment on the former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar’s remarks about her in a TV interview.

“I respect Chaudhry Nisar for being a senior party leader. He is also an old friend of my father. What he said (about me) is his style,” Maryam said to a question.

Commenting on Maryam’s political career, Nisar had said she had not yet stepped into politics and could not be accepted as party leader. He had also said she was no match for slain premier Benazir Bhutto.
