That is not a very rational observation. Afghan money is so thinly traded due to all the restrictions (the government is not even recognized by any country in the world), that a meaningful exchange rate does not exist. Anyway, PKR is in such a whirlwind of crisis that comparing Afghani with PKR is at best a faint praise. But I will grant you this: If Pakistan's economic train wreck continues on the same glide path through 2023 and may be 2024 (not unlikely), 2024 may see Afghanistan at a higher per capita GDP PPP than Pakistan. Once economic depressions start, they feed on themselves.

Their women folk are not being allowed to study so within a decade you'll see female doctors within Afghanistan disappear, leaving Afghan women without a method to get medical help. Roads aren't being built, hospitals are being staffed on a volunteer basis and are doomed to stop functioning.

Afghanistan's national budget was half a billion dollars. That's was development, defense, Healthcare, education...etc.

Afghanistan is fucked in the long term.

You can't just dismiss all of this by simply saying "no, they aren't".

They're building streets, not roads. There's a difference. There are no real development projects in Afghanistan.

The fact that they don't have funding is more proof that Afghanistan is getting worse. This isn't a symptom of new government, it's a symptom of incompetence, considering the world literally gave them a way to get more funding.

They don't have governing skills, they have discipline, and even that's questionable at best.
