The Taliban are Requesting Assistance from Turkey

A strong Taliban delegation is now visiting Ankara. They've had a meeting with the Turkish FM.

According to the press briefing from the Turkish FM:

• Turkey is engaging with the Taliban government in Kabul
• The Taliban have briefed on the current state of affairs in Afganistan
• The Turkish side has presented its POVs regarding the international recognition in a brotherly manner
• Humanitarian assistance to expedite further via Pak. The Turkish organizations want to reopen their offices
• WOT is discussed in details
• Turkey has suggested some points regarding women rights, inclusive governance etc. from the Islamic world's POVs, not that of the West. The Turkish schools in Afganistan are shown as a reference
• Airport operations and security are discussed
• The Afgan refugees in Turkey is taken as an issue for those wanting to return
• Turkey wants to reopen the consulates in Her'at and Mazr-i Sherif
• A Turkish Religious Affairs delegation will visit Kabul
• Etc.

Strangely, the Taliban side didn't have their flag during the meeting as shown in the photograph.....

Looks like the Ay-Yildiz (Hilal ve Sitara) is enough for them....
