K-Electric was sold to Abraaj by Zardari but Sharifs Naqvi's aid suggested money should be offered to Sharifs, secondly here FT has bank statement not some suggestions.

The WSJ report mentions Nawaz Sharif's name in the context that Arif Naqvi, in one of his emails, approved offering money to Nawaz Sharif as a bribe to get approval for the sale of K Electric to one of his employees. If this money had been paid to Nawaz Sharif, the bank transaction of this amount would have come to light in the global investigation against Arif Naqvi, just like the payments to Tehreek-e-Insaaf had come to light. It should also be remembered that Nawaz Sharif's government did not approve the sale of K Electric. However, Imran Khan definitely tried to do this work.
