Colonial history and pragmatism. You can't really get very far without knowing English.
I assume a provincial language is the official language of a province.
Don't know the history, but sounds like a bad idea.
lingua franca seems to me little bit french ... even though I have not searched about that.... but regarding arabic or latin I came to know from the comment section of the article which I was not aware of before thats why I have asked about that...
Another question what is thought in pakistans text book regarding 21st february and 1971 war and any connection between the 2 ... or nothing at all???
