The rule of law in countries around the world (2020)

This report is very debatable if not total BS, the west just doesn't know China and has bias and prejudice mud their eyes and minds all the time, it's just a another piece of anti China junk they churn out every other day.

You can have your own opinion, but different people judge success and failure with their own opinions, you think China is a failure doesn't mean others share the same view.

I honestly don't know how true is this statement, but still the world depends on Chinese pharmaceuticals.

Again, but have you ever invented a new drug? Sure, world depends on China for pharmaceuticals, but not because you invented them. You just mass produce them cheaper than anywhere else. Both India and China have never invented a new drug. We wait for western patents to run out and then mass produce generics. There is no genius in that.

. . .
That's because your judiciary is not independent.
That can be true, but it doesn't mean China has no rule of law, China has rule of law more than most countries, China's law enforcement is effective.
US rule of law is that rich people can always get away with legal punishment, that's not the case in China.

Without an independent judiciary, laws may apply arbitrarily. The article doesn't say China has no rule of law, but it is not applied in the right interest or sense. Chinese constitution says it is a People's Republic, does that make sense to you?

US rule of law doesn't make anyone get away without punishment, if the case is solid with airtight proofs, you're likely to be punished. If you have the money you can hire some good lawyers that can bend certain laws and get away with less punishment, also if the prosecutor is smart and brilliant you might get more punishment than what you deserve. That doesn't mean anyone with a million dollars can get away with any crime.

Did you ever live in US? Rich fellows can always get away from legal punishment in US is common sense, everyone knows it, if you are a poor black, well, good luck.

I don't have to live in the US to understand what you are saying is bullshit. There is no comparison between China and the US justice system. I have lived in the UAE for a brief period and in Singapore for quite some time. The ranking does a fair job of giving an idea of how the justice system works. So, I have no reason to doubt it's ranking in the US. From what I read, I can see why China is where it is and Hong Kong is in top position. Make sense why HKers are protesting.

. .
Ask average Americans before calling it bullshit.
I did and they are quite surprised by your assertation. When I said, you're from China, they laughed it off.

What do you call all those protests all across India now?
False equivalence, protest across India is not the same as the HK issue.

Of course people protest over different issues, I don't claim they protest for the same reason, so you can see why Hong kong's protes is right thing to do, what do you think about the nationwide protests in India?

why? Because it doesn't suit your narrative?
Because every American know rich people can alway get away, while poor and minorities rot in the prison. I highly doubt you really asked any one. it's very likely you were lying.

Except HK wants to protect its freedom and rule of law. Which is ranked at par with the west.
For protest in India, they have the right to protest in India I fully support their right to protest.

OK, let them protest, they've doing that for a year now, a good party for teens.

Save it. If what you're saying is right then there will be a mass movement in the US against the rich. As far as the history of the US goes they earned a lot of their civil rights and liberties through peaceful protests.

Even the statistics don't conform to your statement. Saying US laws works in favor of the rich is a commie ignorance that I'm used to by now.

Of course and they will form a government, then strike down Chinese influences and then party along. The west would happily fuk China over it.
