Yep, it is a fat boy.

The length is about the same as the Type 093B, but the displacement is perhaps more than 50%.

The front of the tower got the sail cusp, while the back of the tower is a retro-design of the Type 091.

It also adds the rudders on the bow and a pump-jet on the tail.

Now to deter against the Type 095, it is likely that the US will unseal the production line of the Seawolf class.

Their Ohio replacement project will also likely speed up.

The relationship between the Seawolf class and the Virginia class is likely that between the F-22 and the F-35.

The Seawolf class is more powerful, but the US cannot afford to produce more, same for the F-22.

Neither, if the designation indeed turns out to be 095. It's going to be a nuclear attack submarine. Odd numbers (091,093) are nuclear attack subs whereas even numbers (092, 094) are strategic nuclear missile subs.
