The Real Beggars.. Dear Mighty India

50% will end up in corrupted hands mark my word.
Remaining will be liquidated into shady start ups.
Poor people will lose yet again .

.
India's per capita income is 50 % more than Pakistan.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita

adjusted for purchasing power by country.

India is USD 9000
Pakistan is USD 6000

It shows in the difference in the HDI and muiltdimensional index poverty rates of the two countries.

India's per capita income is higher than most Muslim countries in South Asia and Africa.

The above source is wik-indiandoctored-pedia. Do you have ANY GENUINE/CREDIBLE sources to prove those above figures?

There was a time when we needed aid to support.
A thing in the past. Now India does support other countries with aid with whatever we can at least.

Click on footnote number 5. I am not able to copy to link here. Wikipedia generally provides sources of information. It's child's play to find out whether the information is authentic or not.

Are you aware of how Wikipedia works? All you have to do is click on the link to see that the source of the information is IMF and World Bank.

You have to spoon feed the truth to them, sometimes they are still in denial.

On this occasion the source does seem credible but there is one issue. If those economic figures are correct then why does india have the greatest number of severely malnourished and extreme poor people in the world?:

Something is not right here. Either the indian government or the IMF are lying.
One of the links above does accuse the indian government of hiding india's TRUE poverty figures.

change the topic when you couldn't challenge the source.

Some of the sources you have posted are very old. Secondly, India also has a massive population.

Check the HDI rankings and UN's multidimensional poverty index rankings for a more holistic picture on poverty.

Have read it again. Those figures are GDP figures for PPP. They are not the GDP nominal figures which are used as actual measure of economic prosperity. PPP figures for GDP are not normally used as they are speculative and based on inflation rather than actual figures.

PS The sources I have used are from 2010 onwards. Are you seriously suggesting that india has become developed since then? That india is no longer a developing nation?........

PPP figures are more accurate for per capita income. I had mentioned that in my initial post. They are adjusted for inflation (not speculative at all). They provide information about the purchasing power of the average citizen of the country.

WHERE did you get the info. that "most people" refer to Pakistan as.........?" Where is your evidence? If what you say is true then remember to post the links here. No indian FAKE NEWS only GENUINE/CREDIBLE sources.

how come you ask for evidence but don't provide any when asked? never mind, I know why - you don't have any.
Anyway, here's your minister admitting the begging bowl thing.

I don't want to insult any country, especially poor countries such India, Pakistan, BD etc. Their fundamental poverty was originally brought on by plundering foreigners and subsequently by exploding populations. It is a shame though that these countries clammer around calling each other poor.

Breaking the begging bowl
Making the economy stand on its own feet to avoid going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) again and again for balance-of-payments support has been one of the elusive goals for most civilian and military governments.

Former premier Shaukat Aziz even claimed to have broken the begging bowl. This government also claims to have this laudable objective, but things appear to be moving in a different direction......

Not quite right. PPP figures are usually much higher than the nominal figures based on inflation at any one given time. As inflation is subject to change, those figures become more conjectural. That's why they are not normally used as standard economic measures wheras nominal GDP figures are.

Again the above is not factual but an opinion piece. It's conjectural at best, nothing more. If anything the source above shows just how much freedom the Pakistani press enjoy. In india, NO-ONE would ever dare criticize, the government or it's policies.
