@manlion @kvpak can confirm how much South Indians dislike North Indians & hate Pakistanis. Particularly Tamils also hate Pakistanis as Pakistanis were instrumental in supporting the SriLankan government to wipe out LTTE.

Reasons why India and Pak helped Sri Lankas are different. India wanted no Tamil country anywhere in the world because there is historical conflict between ancestors of Hindis and Tamils. Also only Asian language that challenges Sanskrit is Tamil. It is Tamils who made India to back down a little on Hindi imposition in 1965. But for 1965 today EVERYTHING would be in Hindi in India.

Pak helped Sri Lanka because of its hatred for India. It did not want Sri Lanka totally indebted to India. it wanted a foothold in Sri Lanka.

We remember what Pak did. Dont expect blind support from Tamils during India-Pak wars.

This is the very reason why Pakistanis look down upon Bangladeshis who are also dark skinned like Tamils.

Choudry Rehmat Ali and Allama Iqbal never envisioned Bengal to be part of Pakistan. It was from the Bengal muslim league who pushed for this.

Allama Iqbal clearly stated in his Allahabad address, paraphrased “I have come to the conclusion the Pakistan is the final destiny of the Muslims of Northwest British India, at least.”
