The Most Dynamic Cities of 2025 | Foreign Policy

. .
I am not sure if they have taken few things in consideration. In India, We do have one developed city grows not vertically like other countries. Here It grows vertically as well. For an e.g. Delhi itself might have very less GDP growth if we take out nearby cities Noida/Gurgaon/Faridabad/Ghaziabad etc involvement or take Mumbai's example which have sister cities like Navi Mumbai/Thane etc.

One more thing which is very appreciative for China that in recent few years they have build up many new cities and they are growing faster. If we want to develop then we need equal distribution across the country. Development of existing few cities will create more issues.

Bear in mind that the source is the American publication called Foreign Policy. And they always love to overstate China's progress, in order to "motivate" themselves.

So they probably exaggerated it by a significant amount.

Lol i really dont think that Foreign policy is the right source to start a discussion. Such lists are published everyday by many organisations. China, brazil, india and indonesia get the most cities.

Which list is that?

. .
Its a moronic list.

Dynamism takes into account many factors, such as economic power, livability, culture, entertainment, arts and humanities, transportation and infrastructure, health, crime, etc.

This list is only taking into account the percentage growth in GDP over the next 13 years and ranking cities which have the highest percentage GDP growth.

This is nothing more than a scare tactic designed to show Americans that China will take over unless they do something.

China has decades to go before it catches up to the United States. Yes, its cities are shining but the rural areas are a total mess.
