I'm getting married very soon. I'm 6.0", GF is 5.9". Its semi arranged/semi love marriage. Tall is a classic alright, I checked height of celebrities and came to know only Anushka Sharma is 5.9", I m big fan of her she looks drop dead gorgeous in Patiala salwar kameez in Band Baaja Baraat. I'm afraid with heels she will be 1/4" taller than me.

To solve your problem, you should wear heels too whenever she wears them.
