Its evident in light of no ToT, India focused on Barak R&D and refused David's Sling.

Thats why IAF version of Barak 8 become possible.

See, the operational version of Barak 8 unable to see the light until 2015. And as co-developer DRDO and BDL (risk sharing partner actually) were boasting about this everywhere that they got first export order for this missile.

Considered the best in the world.

250 km is range of ballistic missiles which David's Sling is shooting down, not the range of SAM.

BTW both Barak 8 land version and David's Sling use same radar EL/M-2084 MMR.

Barak 8 is optimized vs. planes while David's Sling vs. ballistic targets.
