If you don't support their cause or criticize them then you must be either uneducated,ignorant, had no freedom of speech ever and not civilized and therefore from stone age when they themselves believe follow a doctrine which is a stone age in itself. Israel is an artificial statehood and not going to sustain unless it make peace with the populace there. There were 200 years of crusaders history in that piece of land eventually lost to the locals. The same thing will happen, if not today but with the decline of the share of American economic power and with the increase of Muslim influence in America. But it points out the wrong part of the author's paper, IMHoO.

If you remove the oniric value of his awakening as a modern Jew in history
today, he comes out with a rather soft idea. Of course, as IDF bears defense
and yet attacks a lot, it may hide a very offensive use. In strategic defense,
one may have to bomb a nuclear reactor in another country, even though a
long range raid out of your borders is certainly not a defensive tactic.
All in all, one can't judge such a piece and call until acts are implemented.
I.E. nothing new!

And going by recent actions, I maintain my old position :

I am in favour of the existence of Israel in the exact same measure ...
that Israel itself is in favour of the existence of Palestine.​

Now let the chips fall where they may depending on that defensive army's acts.
