What's new

The Iranians have built two mosques in China, one of which is a prince of Persia.

The remaining you listed except the Buyids were houses not empires. Ilkhanate was not Shia but after the spliting one portion's main two rulers are assumed to have been shia but the empire itself continued after them in the same line as their forefathers which were sunni.. the guys in discussion here are Muhammad khodabandeh and Abu Sa'd Bahadur..

It's true that only the last two rulers of the Ilkhanid dynasty were Shia. Then again, it's also true that only two of them, Tegüder and Ghazan, were Sunni. From what I could gather, the other three (Arghun, Gaykhatu, Baydu) were of Buddhist or Shamanist faith.

It was technically 5 Ahmed Teguder, Arghun, Gaykhatu, Baydu and Gazan.. Ahmed Teguder was the one who made the Iikhanate a sultanate by converting.. He was the son of Hulagu Khan biggest enemy of Islam of all times the only man who came close to collasping islam.. The world is strange his father sacked Baghdad and ended the abbasid while his son as muslim founded Ilkhanate sultanate

Do you have a source for Arghun, Gaykhatu and Baydu? Gazan converted to Islam as well, which would imply his predecessor wasn't Muslim. Also, Arghun was definitely Buddhist. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arghun

Arghun Khan
(Mongolian Cyrillic: Аргун хан; Traditional Mongolian: ᠠᠷᠭᠤᠨ; c. 1258 – 10 March 1291) was the fourth ruler of the Mongol empire's Ilkhanate, from 1284 to 1291. He was the son of Abaqa Khan, and like his father, was a devout Buddhist (although pro-Christian).

Inside the Artux Great Mosque. 1200 years have passed. Did the mosque get torn down? Of course not.
The exterior is definitely Safavid/Mughal in appearance; the mosque had to have been rebuilt since 8/9 century CE.

I added some selected pictures of the Soltaniyeh Dome, built in the 14th century on orders of the Ilkhanid emperor Öljaitü, a convert to Shia Islam, to the initial post where I mentioned it. Have a look at this marvel (click on the link below):

Find out where the information is, and it's really rebuilt. Sorry. Maybe the mosque behind this painting is what he is.

The Alavids were irrelevant and mostly tribal not empire status or rather a house. The Buyid were indeed Zaydis yemenis but they were mainly based in Iraq and only split into Iran in it's later years before there collapse to the Seljuqs moving westwards expansion. It was a minor incident and basically split into Iran but Iran itself has no history of Shia before Ismail Shah..

Example the founder of Safavid himself was Sunni Ismail Shah I.. He was the son of a famous Kurdi sufi Sheikh from Sinjar.. His house was already ethbishled he inherited his family but half way he decided to change for political reasons. It was politically motivated and later on went to change the denomination of his kingdom including civilians
Iranians were NEVER a real Sunni society, despite the dominance and suppression of the so called Sunni rulers (atheists in fact), Iranians decided to stick to Ahlulbait teachings, Iranian love for Ahlulbait and their hatred against main Sunni khalifas were so high, that Abbasid's king in Iran (Ma'mun) who didn't have a solid power, decided to bring the Shiah's eighth Imam and superficially acknowledge his heritage of Muslims' leadership, and through this strengthen his reign, but our Imam knew about his real intentions and used this opportunity to further spread Shia believes in Iran.

Hundreds years later, Safavids just used Shiah popularity to attract people, their soldiers were already Shiah.

This is an extreme revision. There was no supression of any sort the Iranians themselves identified as such and were first zoroastrians for nearly 2000 years than followed by Sunni-Islam for nearly 1000 years and than Shia-Islam recently during the Safavids. They themselves just changed from zoroastrianism to Islam and then changed later denomination within Islam. The current day Iranians are all descendants of zoroastrians who converted to Sunni-Islam for almost 1000 years they were sunni-islam since the arrival of th Rashidun to that region.. 90% of Iran's population are descendants from these

Iranians converted to Islam, not Sunni Islam, and the Islam which Iranians accepted was the Ahlulbait one, not the Khalifa's revisions, none of the Khalifas were able to change it, and thus the actions of Mamun. in fact, even this term 'Sunni' wasn't in contrast to Shiah, it was made to address the difference between Umayyad and Abbasid dynasty.

It says:

Abdulkarim Satuq Bughra Khan (Uighur: سۇلتان سۇتۇق بۇغراخان; also spelled Satuk; died 955)[2] was a Kara-Khanid khan; in 934, he was one of the first Turkic rulers to convert to Islam,[3] which prompted his Kara-Khanid subjects to convert.[4]

His tomb is in Artush, Xinjiang. He was of the house of the Karakhanids, also called Afrasiabids (their Persian name). Although ethnic Turks, they assimilated Iranian Islamic culture.

There was really none before them except a small group of assassins that were outlawed from levent found refuge in a mountain in Iran but these were really not Shia but Ismails and didn't stay there for long but they were not an empire but just limited to a mountain top. There was technically nobody before Safavids if you wanna mention a house as an empire it will be to far fatched but there was technically none..
Buyids were shia

Can we please stop trying to build cultural bridges with ch*na?? I really spew at the thought of having to deal with shinajin on inter-personal levels...and I especially despise the Iran-ch*na friendsip association or whatever that group is called.

Treat it like a market - they're the vendor, you're the customer and you purchase commodities in exchange for dollars, end of story. Anything beyond that is inviting trouble. I don't want to build any masjid in ch*na nor do I want them to preach their scummy ideals to us anymore than I'd give am*rica the platform to lecture us on dEmOcRaCy.
