The Greatest Deception

First it was is the earth round, now it's which goes around which, there's like 400+ years of research on this topic, aside from religious texts might I ask you to expand your library with books which explain these phenomena

"Scientists" also say we come from monkeys. I don't plan on paying my money for that garbage. I could do something more useful like buy a stamp collection or buy a collection of tree bark.

Also, I'm a man of science myself. I've been studying computer programming.

It's less of a football and more of a misshapen sphere, this gives rise to height variation, water tends to collect at points with lesser potential energy, given natural paths it will always try to go from a point with higher potential energy to a point with lower P.E.

Point taken.

However. How can this curve be explained made by water over a solid object which is earth inner core lying underneath the oceans.

Did you ever study Newton's work on gravitation performed a few centuries ago?

Gravity is a very controversial subject. Specially in this day and age.

I'll try to explain it in the context you're referring to, the universe that the lord made is no simple thing, it like it's creator is so mind bogingly complex that therein lies it's beauty, these laws, these phenomena speak to a design so intricate, so elaborate, that the act of simply figuring them out provides a glimpse into his majesty, even in the Holy Quran the act of observing his creation and marveling( understanding) at it is considered as worship.

Looking, observing, and attempting to explain how the almighty created us(universe) is actively encouraged by both Hadith, sunnah, and the Holy Quran.

Well I'm glad you're my brother in Islam and that you're a Muslim.

I'm all for science, I guess. If someone wants to memorize and recite the periodic table, I'm not exactly against it I guess. I think they're crazy but I don't think they're committing a crime.

Why use a metaphor for Jews ? there are plenty of Jews centered Conspiracy theories , so why not just say JEWS are controlling ? where did those shape shifting Lizard people came in ? and Claims goes to Obama is one of the lizard one and last i checked such people also claim Obama to be Muslim not a Jew ?

I think you have to ask David Icke those questions.

(It's about Flat Earth ...for the anti Conspiracy folk to not waste their time).

For the Free thinkers* out there who believe in possibilities, instead of involving themselves into the servitude of the images, which are constantly beamed into their brain since childhood, and find it hard to step out of the comfort zones out of the fear of the unknown.

*Free Thinking = (Ability to imagine with images that do not originate from one's mind, and to believe in "possibilities" instead of restricting oneself to hardwired programming)

Go to a beach near Karachi on a clear day and watch the ships.

You can clearly see the ships disappearing gradually on the horizon, bottom first.

How is this possible on a flat Earth.

Surface tension and Potential energy. Over time water will settle over the lowest P.E points, then on top of each other in layers, the layers formed are subjected to various external forces : gravitational, cohesive which tend to maintain the outer most layer at the same height (P.E) the result is a spherical looking object.

In space free of gravitational forces water naturally tends to form into spheres, on a misshapen lump like earth with gravitational forces at play, it first fills in the cracks (like filling a bowl or a container) then it's top level tries to maintain minimum surface area (curved area of a sphere)

Take this picture for example, it matters not what shape but the height (P.E) water tries to maintain itself

What is it about gravity that you find controversial in this day and age? I am intrigued by this contention, please do explain.

I doubt it. You see, you can put water inside a spherical object and make it assume the same shape but you cant put water "outside" and accept the same result.

This is something which really does my head in tbh. :)
What does that even mean?
If you can produce a gravitational force, it'll pull anything towards it.
That's the reason you should've paid more attention during school. It's not that hard to understand.

And if you don't believe in GRAVITY, why don't you jump and see if you can fly.

We know how gravity works, but not definitively why, that's the only controversy I could think of.

It suggests that the force of gravity may have something to do with the property of water flattening itself out on the surface of the planet by overcoming its surface tension.

In a nicely curve shape? You are aware that scientist are now questioning the concept of gravity?

No, they are questioning why it works the way it does, how it does was known since the age of Newton himself.

The gravitational attractive force between two different masses is given by Newton's formula, that's the how, why does it work that way is what's being debated and researched.

The concept of gravity is now challenged, if you have kept yourself up to date and not stuck in your school books!

My understanding it, that it does not explain every phenomena in the universe.

There are SKELETAL REMAINS of hominids. Entire process of evolution has been documented in form of skeletal remains of various hominids. To deny it is to close our eyes. A funny example.. Cauliflower cabbage Kale kohlrabi.. All evolved from wild cabbage

I don't know what a hominid is and I don't care. I don't think God is going to quiz me on hominids or cabbageology on the Day of Judgement.

That being said, I respect cabbage. Cabbage is a delicious vegetable.

The fact is that we don't come from monkeys. That is completely silly and utterly false.

We come from Adam (PBUH) and Eve.

Our current understanding of how it interacts in the universe is incomplete without more data, but from what we do have is pretty solid base that is being built upon, it's a continuous process.
