Police officers have to deal with liars on a daily basis.
Black men are dangerous when on their feet, in terms of physical strength compared to the average white man's and asian man's build.
The choke-hold that killed the black man is a general attribute of police force training.
There was no space to safely transport the black man SUSPECT, to another location, like the inside of a car.

Accidents happen. Lethal accidents, unfortunately, too.

All we can do as society is learn from our mistakes, and update our training courses for our vital personnel, when able to do so, taking into account that these people have to work with others who run on earlier versions of that training. So only so much can be changed for each new class in each school/university in each profession that upholds the general safety and civilization levels in a country.

You can claim abuse of force is common in the police, but the commonality of abuse doesn't make it legal, acceptable or correct. You are witnessing common people protesting against the state institution that is run by their tax money under their consent to serve them. If people who feed this institution are unhappy, just question who is this institution serving?

Video clearly shows Floyd being arrested and a white police officer continuing to kneel on his neck for several minutes even after he pleaded that he could not breathe. Ye sounds very innocent to me. Let him go free - five him a medallion and recommendation to becomes Trumps personal body guard.

I understand that police officers often have to put themselves in danger. When someone is in that state of mind...fight or flight instincts can kick in and all that.

However for this specific case there is video evidence.
- It was one guy vs 4 police officers.
- He was handcuffed.
- He was restrained(by 3 of the 4 police officers) and on the ground facedown.

What threat did he pose in such a condition to justify putting a knee on his neck for nearly 9 minutes? It is generally accepted that 3 minutes without oxygen causes brain death...police officers KNOW this. There is NO JUSTIFICATION whatsoever of choking him(with the knee) for that long.

TBH The police ARE innocent. george floyd had just burgled the home of a single pregnant women and had put a gun to the woman's chest. He deserved it. 1000s of blacks are murdered by other blacks each year and no one complains. blacks commit the most murders and other heinous criminal acts against non-blacks in america and get away with it. One black criminal is killed by the police and blacks across America find an excuse to go looting rioting and commiting crime. blacks are a protected class with special privileges.

Most of the time it is the behavior and ego of an individual which takes his own life. Afaik the guy was using counterfeit currency to purchase cigarettes, resisted arrest, and was non compliant when police ordered him to sit in the cop car.

Can someone explain, why would a police do what they did, if you are complaint to their orders. It's not jungle rule, if you think police is wrong, you always have lawyers to fight the case and get you cash after lawsuit.
