The peace process is indeed doomed to fail, creating a Kurdish dictionary won't help resolve anything.

And especially not since AKP are trying to renew elections in Agri for the tenth time. Building military posts in time of peace, killing innocent Kurds trying to cross the border to visit nearby relatives etc. PKK however doesn't what a war now but they don't want to seem weak and accept Turkey do their biding so they are acting by kidnapping, blocking roads etc to show their presence. Atleast not now, they're focusing on Rojava and are pretty occupied over there. Maybe they'll create a splinter group with no "connection" to them to do their work in the Kurdish regions of Turkey.

The PKK cant stand our new outposts so they just pretend to be civilians and attack construction sites under the guise of being protesters. They know that they will not be able to inflict that many casualties any more thanks to all of our new equipment.

Turkey should be more harsh with the so called "protesters" who are actually pkk that are protesting the building of Kalekols, and making roadblocks but then foreign media would twist the story and say that we attacked peaceful protesters.

I agree with you that PKK is concentrating on Syria. They are now acquiring more weapons, and recruits imo.

Hizbullah is still has strong presence in some of the Kurdish regions, my roommate was from Şırnak, he said they were weak in Şırnak but strong in some of the surrounding regions like I guess Batman, Siirt etc.

Peace process was doomed to fail from the beginning, of course Erdogan's aim was to use "we stopped blood" propaganda, he can't give what Kurds want, nationalists can't be satisfied with stuff like language rights, what they want is practically independence but with still continuing to rely on Turkey's economy, no sane person would accept that.

I'm guessing Erdo is waiting to be President, after that these provocations of PKK will be used as an excuse and clashes will start again, they will get away from it putting all the blame on PKK.

Name of the women is "Şua Huseyîn El Ubet”. Another person, who tried to rescue Ubet was shot in the leg. DIHA reports that she was shot when trying to stop Turkish soldiers from beating four refugees.

PKK activities in the area have been continuing for seven days. "

That's right. This is the reason why we are working on new technologies such as UAVs and constructing more durable outposts, which some reason pisses the terrorists off It is a good reason though. Because if they ever **** this peace process up, there will be a slaughter. No terrorist will be spared and no Western country can save them, since it will be like "we have given a chance to peace and the terrorists ruined it".

Those "border guards" you are talking of are ordinary conscripts, people from any political view, any ethnic background including Kurds, you think if there was intentional&constant shooting of innocents it would stay secret ? Borders are constantly being used by Smugglers and Armed militants, if those people don't want to mistaken for them, they will either use border gates or stop these smugglers and militants themselves, Turkishj soldiers has no obligation to do identity control to everyone breaching border.

Weird thing is , Turkish authorities even has a degree of tolerance to smuggling, control is not much tight, but as usual they are always to blame.

If a war comes again I'd suspect many Kurds dead but the thing here is that they have nothing to lose. There are millions of Kurds ready to take up arms and I belive if it starts it won't just be a guerilla war like it has been since 00, it will be a much bigger war, that will include combat inside cities and towns etc. Kurds are not satisfied and they have good reason, they'll just continue.

It's not like the 90's or 80's where the Turkish army was ill equipped, today it's the opposite and therefore very difficult for PKK. If a war comes again I'd suspect many Kurds dead but the thing here is that they have nothing to lose. There are millions of Kurds ready to take up arms and I belive if it starts it won't just be a guerilla war like it has been since 00, it will be a much bigger war, that will include combat inside cities and towns etc. Kurds are not satisfied and they have good reason, they'll just continue.

Such thing didn't even happen back in nineties when the oppression was at its max. So what kind of wet dream is that? Unlike nineties, today there is hope for peace and really a positive environment in Turkey. If a war comes again, it will be because of PKK's so called "Şahin" wing and their retarded actions such as killing village guards, road blockades (which you happen to cheer for) and kidnapping kids.

Like i always said, the peace process will be a win win situation for Turkey and it is one of very rare things that i liked about AKP. If it be succesful, then great! If not, it will remove the barriers set by the West when dealing with PKK terrorism. The fight will be unfair for terrorists and nobody will take up arms because it will be pure slaughter.
