Or is it like Israel, support their own country, so long as it's somewhere else.

So?

Nothing is written in stone in international relations and diplomacy. The world changes quickly and constantly and along with it the circumstances and alliances. Erdogan and Turkey must watch what's happening around our borders and adjust our stance accordingly.

All you people... can’t you just for once admit the mistakes your Reis and AKP did? I am sure you see them too but why don’t you at least for once say “Yes they made a huge mistake that all Turks are paying and will pay for” instead of talking about the changing times etc. How come it’s always them who can’t see the obvious things in front of them? How it’s always them who are being betrayed and lied to by their so called allies? Answer me.

I understand the journalistic prostitutes who are directly fed by the AKP who are flipping like pancakes and even if Erdo shits on the table and starts eating his own shit they will write how good that is for your health or something...but how blind and willing to lie to yourself and those around you you should be to close your eyes in front of the obvious things.

You're right, it was a mistake to cozy up with the KRG too much. The whole KRG situation could've been managed better, much better. AKP's track record certainly isn't too bright so far as the management of the Kurdish issue goes. But what alternative did Turkey have with a pro-Iran government in Baghdad and its own social realities at home? I don't see a realistic alternative party in Turkey that could've done a better job overall with the hand that Turkey was dealt.

It was Barzani that jumped ship, not Erdogan. And shit like this happens all the time in international relations. When it does, you gotta make adjustments.

It's never a good idea to be rigid and unresponsive in foreign policy. It's always a good idea to be flexible and pragmatic. Both the US and Russia are excellent at this, changing their support and alliances, contradicting what they say with what they do, etc etc, and Turkey should replicate this kind of behavior to maximize national gain in every international event, locally or globally.

If Turkey hadn't cozied up with the KRG then Iran or Israel or Russia or the US would've and they would've started using them against Turkey and you mouthbreathers would be complaining about how Erdogan shouldn't have let them do that and how we don't have any allies and how we should've allied ourselves with them instead.

There are real criticisms of Erdogan that could and should be made but instead of making those you discredit yourselves by fanatically blaming everything on him. Did something bad happen? F'n Erdogan. Something good happen? It's a trick by f'n Erdogan. Did you lose your sock? F'n Erdogan took it - here's proof in the form of a photo showing Erdogan standing near some socks. Realise that you fanatics are so cancerous that even people like me who don't even like Erdogan are forced to defend him. Think real hard about that.

Their only option to sell their oil is through Turkish lands. If we didnt "cozied up" with them they would die off. They came to us. But we used that card wrong. We literally told the central government to f.ck themselves and told them we recognize Barzani as the authority. We helped them prosper. That was wrong. We shouldnt have disregard central government and we should have use oil card to make them more bound towards Iraqi government.

Emotional and sectarian foreign policy of AKP has costed us too much thats a fact.

If, if, if... As you know Barzani is in great relations with Israel, the US and the West too who protect him, invest in Erbil and train and supply the peshmergas. Russia’s Rosneft signed a deal worth 4bln USD last week to export kurdish oil by a pipeline to Turkey but I guess Erdogan’s actions were really a hurdle for KRG to get in good relations with all the countries you mentioned huh? As for Iran I don’t have an idea what their relations with the Kurds there are.

So you want to tell me that Erdo and his circle got in good relations with Barzani to protect Turkey and not to make money from it (billions of trade, construction, petrol trade and most importantly contraband of everything you can imagine)? If they didn’t then Turks would’ve suffered a lot? :woot: Guess what: I don’t see PKK’s attacks to have stopped or Iraq’s kurds to have stopped the PKK from making bases there, recruit and train terrorists all over Northern Iraq (it’s the opposite- they help and protect them because they have one goal). So did Turkey’s government support for Barzani helped us fight the Kurdish separatists or strengthened them? Think real hard about that.

Bunlarin ikisi neyin pesinde bi karar verin amk.
