The end of the deal, hopes, delusions and treasons

Rouhani is all talk. All Iran can do is enrich back to 20% Uranium and what good does that do Iran and it’s economy?

They wouldn’t bring back the mothballed centrifuges as those are under IAEA seals and once seals are broken it will allow the US to cry foul. Even if centifuges are brought online it will take some time before they are ready to be fed gas.

Arak nuclear plant is useless without its reactor. Fordow is now pretty useless.

Basically US managed to keep sanctions on Iran (besides oil) and at the same time have Iran reduce nuclear capacity and do some permanent changes (Arak). US just stalled Iran for a few years.

The West doesn’t want to negotiate, it is pressing Iran like it is pressing down on North Korea. How long till China and Russia fold like lawn chairs and pressure Iran in some way as well?

If the us pulls out iran could argue that the deal is null and void anyway so it wouldnt really matter if iran began to rebuild its enrichment capability, however this would at most barely even get you back to the status quo before the deal existed, which I think we can all agree wouldnt punish the west enough for its treachery, however there is one option that I think would and that is reprocessing. Now not only would this greatly shorten irans potential pathway to a nuclear military option but it would also send a very loud and clear message to the west that each time it engages in duplicity of this sort that it cannot expect merely a return to the pre deal staus quo but that instead it will wind up worse off than before the deal. Now in the short to medium term iran would be limited to reprocessing the trr fuel, under iaea safeguards of course but likely in a facility like fordow ie safe from attack, but the long term implication would clearly be that iran would start producing and reprocessing its own fuel for bushehr and of course giving iran a stockpile of fissile materiel into the bargain.

As expected, Boeing postponed Iranair's this month delivery to 2019, which means current OFAC export permission will expire.

here is another failure of Reformists ideology (economy interests precedes the national interest).
traitors and deluded Reformists think they can make our enemies dependent by ordering their junk, claiming that like themselves, U.S and Europe will sacrifice their national interest over the small economic interest too.

Unless Trump is a total idiot, he wont quit the deal (this precious gift from traitors in Iran), why do so while you can avoid your commitments?!

Boeing defers Iran deliveries, eases output concerns

PARIS (Reuters) - Boeing (BA.N) has found new homes for jets it hoped to deliver to Iran this year, further clouding the prospect of quick deliveries as U.S. President Donald Trump considers whether to withdraw from a pact to remove nuclear-related sanctions.

The head of the U.S. planemaker also signaled on Wednesday that Boeing is no longer as concerned as it once was that a collapse of the deal could force it to cut production of the 777 jetliner, threatening hundreds of jobs, due to a pickup in demand.

“We have no Iranian deliveries that are scheduled or part of the (production) skyline this year, so those have been deferred in line with the U.S. government process,” Boeing Chief Executive Dennis Muilenburg said in a conference call.

“I can tell you with confidence that we have continued to build risk mitigation into our 777 production plan.”

Boeing agreed in December 2016 to sell 80 aircraft to IranAir under a deal between Tehran and major world powers to reopen trade in exchange for curbs on Iran’s nuclear activities.

These included 15 Boeing 777-300ER long-range jets for which Boeing has obtained U.S. export licenses.

Industry sources said Boeing had been tentatively due to send Iran three 777s this year but has reshuffled deliveries with other buyers.

The original deal for 777s threw vital support to one of Boeing’s most profitable jets, which is nearing the end of a decades-long production run pending the switch to a new model.

It has already cut production due to a drop in sales. In late 2016 it told staff the lower output plans took account of Iran, while publicly stressing the value of the deal to jobs.

‘NOT DEPENDENT’ ON IRAN
On Wednesday, however, Muilenburg said Boeing would not have to trim production of the 777 any further even if Iran were unable to take any deliveries of the $347 million jet.

“The production rate that we have put in place is not dependent on the Iranian orders,” he said.

“If those orders do come to fruition, if we do ultimately deliver airplanes, those represent opportunities for us but we are going to follow the U.S. government’s lead and we have ensured that ... we are not dependent on those aircraft.”

Sales of 777s rebounded in 2017, more than doubling to 60.

Trump has often vowed to pull the United States out of the 2015 nuclear pact between Iran and six major powers. He will decide by May 12 whether to restore U.S. economic sanctions on Tehran, which could be a first step to ending the deal.

Iranian officials have said repeatedly the United States must honor the agreement and have accused Washington of hampering not only the delivery of U.S. aircraft, but also European planes purchased under the same accord, because of practical restrictions on financing.

IranAir ordered 100 Airbus jets and 20 Franco-Italian ATR turboprops. It has taken delivery of three Airbus and 8 ATRs.

The European firms rely on U.S. export licenses to complete their deals because of the number of U.S. parts in each plane.

So far Washington has issued licenses covering a period that would allow about a third of the Airbus deliveries to go ahead, but it remains unclear how a U.S. withdrawal would affect these.

Traitors, traitors, traitors.....wahhhaaa haaa! Are the reformist the bad guys now? Didn't your corrupt camp ruin the economy and bring the history's worst sanctions on the country? How much is gone missing when Mr. Ahmadinejad was in power, how many houses were seized and sold to regime insiders? How much money was skimmed from IRGC business activities? You got some balls coming here and pointing fingers......remember when you point there are 4 fingers pointing back at you.

The real traitors are the hardliners in Iran that want to do anything, including destroy and undermine Iran in order to undermine Rouhani.

Yes, the barjam is a mistake. But the real traitors are the hardliners that want Iran to fail and be economically weak. Only traitors would undermine their own country in order for political gain and not national gain!

The most fun part of your lies was blaming the sanctions on conservatives.
U.S put the sanctions cause they wanted to slow down Iran's advancement, to let their puppet reformists media in Iran advertise American's favorite reformist candidate (traitor) as the only solution to get ride of sanctions.

Hold your baseless propaganda for where you live, you're gonna need it in your Khale Pirezanaki chit chats.

wow, even BBC confirmed it!!!

Kaveh madani (citizen of U.K and U.S) was part of a spy network in the cover of environment activist. his case was being investigated and he was released by bail (by the similar traitors in the cabinet), he escaped to U.K to prevent further loose to this spy network. traitors are those who repeat the same propaganda of the sworn enemies of Iran.

what's your next case, Maryam Rajavi is legitimate Iranian president?!

Your posts are worthless propaganda, anyone here that's been following the news in the past 10 years knows what kind of damage you hardliners and IRGC corrupt croonies have done to our country.

This is utter, utter garbage!!! They forced him out because they do not like patriotic dual nationals helping the country succeed. He is an expert in the field, and one of the best in the world who was helping Iran deal with its water shortage and people like you accuse him as a spy with no real evidence! Meanwhile, some idiot will be appointed to his position, and you'll be sitting here in five years with no water to even take a shower in!

Maryam Rajavi can burn in hell.

forced him out. do you hear yourself?
dozens of dual nationals are among our top authorities and nobody forced them to even resign, but forced this spy out??!!!

in his twit, he admitted that he escaped to U.K (and from there resigned) due to his connection to spy network, you are biased.

patriotic but to U.S and U.K, our environment authorities were following the directions of Seyyed Emami (the other spy) team for years, so it's obvious whom to blame.

Maryam Rajavi can burn in hell.
why? she is a genious and political activist too!!!

A deal was needed to happen whether Iran's hardliners like to admit it or not. The UN sanctions had to be lifted, which was blocking many projects and endeavors that would benefit Iran.

Iran Should now focus on becoming a permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) which iran is currently trying to. Iran is currently only an observer state. SCO will help Iran with defense and economic ties and greater relations with other members of the same organisation. SCO has a condition that for a country to become a permanent member, it cant have any UN Sanctions, Which the Nuclear deal lifted.
Both Russia and China supports Iran joining SCO

With the Nuclear deal signed and the lifting of UN Sacntions, India can now work on Chabahar.

In 2017 the Chabahar port was expanded on Iran’s southeastern coast, with help from the Indian government. The Chabahar port will provide an alternative route for India to Afghanistan and central Asia, bypassing Pakistan.

The Chabahar port is also rival to the Pakistani “Gwadar” port, that is being built with help by China. Besides that, the Chabahar Port reduces India’s dependence on Pakistan, for trade with Afghanistan and it’s related neighbouring states. This deepened Iran and India’s economic and political ties.

With the Nuclear Deal lifting the UN Sanctions, Iran can now work on and in my opinion go full steam ahead and prioritize the International North South Transport Corridor. Iran is poised to become more important by diminishing strategic importance of Suez canal. It needs India to get a bulk of the shipments to be transported through it. Once INSTC is operational, look at the possibilities of the same be used to reach through out central Asia and western Europe. By being close to both promising transport corridors, Iran can become major hub of transportation. The INSTC also has the blessings of Russia which is a positive.

In my Opinion Iran should not do anything that would jeopardize the International North South Transport Corridor (INSTC), Chabahar port or its Chance to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

Iran is in a tough place because of corruption and fractured power system. Even the “Supreme Leader” does not have as much power as people think he does. There are many factions and power brokers in the Iranian power structure all with different agendas.

If you ever wondered what a government would look like If it were run by the mafia, then Iran is a prime example. It’s chaos.

Iran is too weak to push through necessary radical reforms that allowed countries like China to move on a path to success.

In Iran it is just finger pointing and blame game. Complete ineptitude. No decisions can be made because power is scattered among too many parties with conflicting interests.

While Iran has managed to withstand tough sanctions, the real sanctions only started coming online around 2010. From 1979 to late 2000’s what was Iran doing?

He didn't "escape" to the U.K. He left because he had to leave his position. It's ridculous, because good, educated and patriotic people who want to serve their nation, can't because some people in the government are paranoid enough to accuse everyone of being a spy!!!

Even the National intelligence services of the country doubted Seyyed Emani being a western spy!!! But some (Sepah) are taking no chances and good people are hurt in the crossfire.

Those dual nationals you speak of were born prior to the revolution even happening, and they were all supporters of the revolution from the beginning. They all also studied in foreign universities during the shah era. Their are no people born after the revolution working in the government because of their paranoia. Considering they were born after the revolution, it becomes unclear whether or not they support it.

why? she is a genious and political activist too!!!

Do you seriously believe that I support that traitor??? Stop saying stupid things!

Your situation reminds me of Venezuela, where people were put in high ranking positions based on their degree of loyalty to the regime rather than merits, which caused their economy to collapse even though they have the largest oil reserve in the world. Having said that, the Mullahs have no other choice but to take this route, otherwise they would lose their grip on the country.
