The Effects Of Nationalism On Humanity

we can discuss it, but would be wrong of us to derail @Homura Akemi 's thread.
You can discuss, I don't mind

@Homura Akemi , though your thread may seem odd on such a forum which promotes nationalism and militarism but your chosen topic is what everyone should be talking about. I am a socialist who desires a communist humanity - where all governments have fallen, militaries have been disbanded, and people rule themselves.

The last underlined part was present in the former Libyan Jamahiriya ( through direct-democracy ) until NATO brought "democracy" to it.

May I add that if "communism" should ominous, all "communist" and "socialist" societies until now have been living experiments, with some happy with their current state and some desiring the terminal state called "communism".

Edit : The Indian Nobel Prize winner, Rabindranath Tagore, spoke against Nationalism.
Thank you. I personally prefer a combination of good attributes of capitalism and socialism. Absolutes are bad, I believe

Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia don't rule by Sharia.

If modern means committing sin, I don't want anything modern in my country.
Change is the only thing that comes in and goes out of your time line. How can you stop an idea whose time has come?

Two laudable things out from the Capitalist world have been the "Free Software Foundation" effort and Elon Musk's SpaceX.

And these two are Socialist in a way.

Misrepresented??

If anything it is overdone in today's world where Internationalism is no longer present as much as it was before the 90's ( from all accounts ).

Its definitely misrepresented.

Nationalism is a good thing. Too much of anything is harmful. Be it anything.

Globalisation needs to be controlled.

All these flavors make a robust vibrant society.

Lawful means.

Crime is traceable.

Thus why Sin and Crime are considered in Pakistan either interchangeable in some eyes while others are happy that we have clear legislation separating them thusby not interfering in anyones human rights.

We have everything we need. These problems are for lesser countries. Pakistan is the prefered Nation.

Which again goes back to whats the Pakistani nation. In my eyes those who agree to our constitution.

But thats personal

Yes, its what you call socio-capitalism, where the capitalist gives back something to society. More focus on value instead of money

Woah, hold up there cowboy. Who elected you president of the Ummah? How is Ataturk a villain to Muslims? If anything he should be a hero to Muslims. The man was amazing.

a person who uses their wealth to invest in trade and industry for profit in accordance with the principles of capitalism

I was talking about socio-capitalism, its a new capitalist model which incorporates elements of socialism into it. Instead of more exploitation, the capitalist contributes some of his wealth to society and helps out the lower rungs. Its pretty ethical, I believe

Ataturk did a lot of stuff that didn't make sense. But to be called a villain is going too far. He is a hero for Turks. Thats all that matters.
