The curious case of UAE statement

I live in 2019.

But I also have a long memory.

And history is a continuum.

In any case, keep drinking the Kool-Aid if you want.

Who is who keeps presenting itself time and time again.

Some choose not to see.
Bro, relations change over time... so I don't think that the statement of 2015 is totally applicable here but we should focus on the current situation. The statement by the ambassador of UAE totally legitimises India actions in Kashmir as he declared it India's internal issue WHICH IS NOT some one should tell that to these dimwits that according to UN resolution it is a disputed region. It is shame that some people can sell souls and faith for pennies and UAE's ambassador did exactly THAT..

Interestingly this time it is different person. Dr Ahmad Al Banna, the UAE ambassador to India is quoted in controversial remark while Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash had the neutral stance this time who previously warns Pakistan.
@BATMAN please stop getting confused...read properly!

The guy who in 2015 wasnt happy with us (Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash) - again I am to assume he was voicing UAE's thoughts ..."happily" didnt twist his words and gave OFFICIAL statement...While ambassador to india is the one who looks half quoted...2 separate people!

I am not sure how SOME people took 2015 Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash's thoughts as serious but in 2019 Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash's thoughts on KASHMIR are ignored over that of Dr Ahmad Al Banna, the UAE ambassador to India because india sold us Dr Ahmad Al Banna's statements and not Gargash's?

So you accept 2015 Gargash's words as UAE's official statement but in 2019 Gargesh's statements FOR KASHMIR are not official? Interesting analysis! Please dont troll!

Hi may i ask... what was your attraction to join this forum?
Where did you learn about it?

Thanks,

I've been a lurker here since the earliest days.

I only joined in 2016 to start posting.

I've been a frequent visitor to Chinese defence sites since the mid 90's when the internet became widespread and found pakistanidefence . com along the way. (which became inactive)

I was an avid internet follower of the JF-17 program from the earliest days.

Mostly, I'm into military aviation (Chinese developments have been crazy since the mid 90's) and somehow my interests morphed into international politics as time went on.

Politically, I am Islamic leaning with hope in Islamic unity in policy matters.

But succinctly put, I am pro-Pakistan in regards to this forum.

I agree ... the relations change over time so 2015 statement may not be entirely applicable today but what about UAE's today's stance on Kashmir?

Read the official statement...it is as neutral as our statement on yemen!

It was not my intention to troll.

But I will leave it at this.

Just think if his word was counted official back then why is the same guy's word not official now?

Why wouldnt it?

Are they or are you again buying what india sells to you?
why would it because
1. india economy is 10Xlarger and the way we abused our system in last 10 yeras it will soon be 50x bigger
2. UAE economy is more integrated with india and more indian migrant workers are coming in
3. india is new puppy of USA to counter china
4. AND THUS UAE INVITED INDIA AND REFUSED PAKISTAN REQUEST NOT TO DO SO in "oh i see you"

simply shows how much pakistan lies in its delusions..better to wake up early and do something about it

Read whatever you want, in the past paranoid politicians caused us decade old problems due to their "delusion" of reading what india feeds them!

Merely waiting for counter content (statement to be precisely or at-least some rejection in view of attributing such lies to UAE Ambassador) to that statement and can't tell you how hard I am gonna smash.

In my opinion, I don't expect any rejection forthcoming, neither i expect any objection from GoP.... because there's merely anything against Pakistan, actually what's allegedly attributed to as ambassador's words is UAE's state policy.

Now, If we go back to the infamous news and read only the part in ''inverted commas''.... amazingly only 4 (out of context) occasions printed. One of them read:
"We are concerned about reports of detentions and urge respect for individual rights and discussion with those in affected communities,"

How can in same interview, there can be contradictory statements? so the position part is clearly not in Indian favor as some of us here believe, so religiously.

Anyhow, rest of the 3 occasions read as follows:

We also took note of the introduction of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Indian Parliament aimed at replacing Article 370 with the creation of Ladakh region and the state of Jammu and Kashmir as India’s two new Union Territories.”

We expect that the changes would improve social justice and security and confidence of the people in the local governance and will encourage further stability and peace,”

"We call on all parties to maintain peace and stability along the Line of Control."

@Dubious have already claimed to have posted the official statement a news link from khaleejtimes, which is already commented by you.

I have also come across this:

Expresses concern over developments in Jammu and Kashmir.

The UAE has reacted to the developments in the sub-continent, calling for restraint over the Kashmir dispute.

The UAE has said that it is monitoring with concern the developments in Jammu and Kashmir, and is calling for all parties in the conflict to exercise restraint, Wam reported on Thursday.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation today, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, stressed "the need to use dialogue for maintaining peace, security and stability in the region."

He also expressed the UAE's confidence in the wisdom of the leaderships of both India and Pakistan and their ability to "overcome this crisis through communication and constructive dialogue, away from escalation and confrontation."

Those two things are not even comparable
Some want to compare it! They are taking jibes at the minister for his 2015 statement!
