Indian North East excluding Assam are mostly populated Sino-Tibetan people, migrated there from China. Facing the assault of racism and caste system, many choose to path of Christianization.

Similar pattern is observed in Indonesian Chinese. Many Indonesian Chinese converted to Christianity as the majority Muslim population become increasingly intolerant.

Modern Christianity movement is a platform of charity, propagation of literacy, healthcare and wealth. The Christian footprints are accompanied by good missionary schools, hospital and network of social care. Upon converting to Christianity or enrolling in missionary schools, the people are opened to worldwide network of highly educated missionaries and teachers.

Christianization is a good way to prevent the conversion into Hinduism as well as the caste system that Hinduism bring. It will prevent the assimilation into the mainstream Hindu culture. The only way to assert the Sino-Tibetan identity, to preserve Sino-Tibetan languages (with variable success) among a sea of Hindustanic people is christianization.

secondly the article states that the percentage of IR(mostly hindus) in the year was 67 percent while actually it was more than 80 percent

thirdly,the article is comparing 1901 Indian data with 2001 Indian data,but there was no India in 1900

fourthly, the article isnt from a govt site rather from a private author in 2005 which raises questions on the crdibility of the report

In Arunachal Pradesh we don't get to see caste system or racism assult .we live in peace and harmony among us and with mainland indians . we choose christinity with our own freewill and nobody force us or was assulted by any other religion dat forced us in conversion . second all the north-eastern don't come from china . we Abotani tribes migrated from tibet ,Naga from Burma , Ahom from thailand etc... Christians in Arunachal don't have any problems with any other religious nor it was introduced to counter against it ..!

We celebrated christmas on on dec 25 and now doni -polo the indegineous religion is celeberating their festival next the festival of hindus will also be celebrated and we all join ineach others festival without any problem . .
