. . . .
Don't think he died, seems to be in the hospital.

He died 3 days later--
a piece of iron shot backwards from the wheels of a truck that was heading in the opposite direction, striking the windshield of Bin's bus-

This driver didn't need to die, if the bus was built to western vehicle safety standard. It's obvious that the front windshield cracked like a house window, when it was supposed to be held up by protective plastic sheets.(Reinforced automotive glass)

I had similar experiences of flying projectiles from dump trucks striking my windshield at 70 mph, all it did was to crack the windshield but it held together.

can you supply a professional claim of the windshield safety standards in China other than your personal indian experience?
If not chill out!

RIP to a Hero!

The speed of bus is more than 100 KPH, but 5 KG of iron hit in opposite direction!! You show your experience, you said that the your car speed is 70 MPH, then the projectiles from dump truck hit your car which must run in the same direction, As your description, tell me the relative speed and what's the projectiles?
Yes, standard of china bus may be lower than that of EU, but at the same situation, EU bus can't save the driver!! Don't be fool for defaming china!
