The Black Hawk Truth.. Operation Gothic Serpent

.
That's not what being discussed here. It's about a heavy strength of Pakistani troops along with Malaysians who saved the Yankees upon request. Indians were there too with tanks but weren't bothered by anyone.

I didn't say that. No they aren't coward.

While this thread is bragging all about the heavy strength of Pakistani and Malaysian forces who saved the Yankees as you said earlier and highlighted above.

You should never forget that it was specifically in response to the butchering of 24 Brave Pakistani soldiers 2 months prior to that in June.

So in a way Pakistan was actually obliged to support the U.S assault team. But again people will still talk about it as a favour even though the UN Peace keeping force is considered as a Team irrespective of their nationalities. :disagree:

he never said that why would you bring your Armys bravery or lack of it? whats your opinion about your army? you think they are cowards? if not why call your army coward? kindly clear the confusion!

Yes. IA is coward. I hope the confusion is cleared now. :-)

exactly
the subject mater is about the gallantry of the American soldiers who kept fighting despite all odds. and the bravery of Pakistani and Malaysian armies who came to help in the successful evacuation under intense fire

.
Now, it appears that the words have given way to the icons and symbols. Not a bad way to communicate.

Well you know actions and Emoji's speak louder than words. :-)

Even if I never mentioned that, I never meant to undermine any soldiers involved in the action. I was just saying that the whole operation was based on a failed rather wrong Intel or the Somalian's were smarter enough to get counter intelligence and act promptly.

thats correct
and Americans admit that,

.
The 24 PA soldiers killed earlier were from a Baloch unit, I believe those skinnies mutilated their bodies too.

There are different angles to military action in Somalia. Black Hawk Down is not about Operation Irene but briefly touch it in the end.

Secondly, UN-led expedition in Somalia was a major let down for all participants including US due to lack of good planning. You do not win fights like this.

Years later, US formed an alliance with Ethopia, and US-Ethopia bloc paid another 'visit' to Somalian warlords [1], and this expedition lasted 2 years straight [2].

[2] https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/jan/26/ethiopia-ends-somalia-occupation

Black Hawk Down was AVENGED and then some - the lesser known story.

Nevertheless, Pakistani Film Industry can work with Hollywood to create a new movie about Operation Irene - an expansion of Black Hawk Down account or something on these lines. Pakistani angle kee bhee publicity ho jai gee.

the Black Hawk down shows a limited reference of Pakistan army in a moderately positive light but there were Indian actors. the driver of Pakistani APC was Indian. given the current Hostility towards Pakistan in America and total stranglehold of Indian narrative such joint venture from Pakistani perspective is unlikely and even if it happens , the Indian influence in Hollywood might contaminate it with negativity

.
Yet the operation was a failure to begin with since the Intel about the presence of General Muhammad Farrah Aidid inside the town was totally wrong info or they had counter Intel about an imminant operation and moved him out. :-)

Typical Indian comes and shits on the post. Not knowing whats being discussed.

.
Like their Indian friends, Yanks also think too much of them selves. One always needs help of Pakistan, the other always gets beating from Pakistan.

You exaggerate Indian influence pretty horribly. Most Americans don’t give a rat’s *** about India.

Hi,

Many an american expeditions have had their hands tied by the US congress by dictating the rules of engagement and what kind of weapons would be available in the arena---.

The US congress did not allow the US military to have tanks in somalia---.

Plus---US an pakistan relations were not at the best at that time---. American media bashed the pakistani troops who died in somalia---and americans were strutting around making themselves supermen---till the skinnies got hold pf them and gave a taste of same medicine and brought the american military to the ground---.

Pak military was not happy with the US commander because the attack info was not shared---. I also believe that there were sanctions on pakistan from the US as well for the F16's---.

I will love to be proven wrong
and thank you for correcting me. but given the fact that Trump wakes up at the mid night and starts tweeting against Pakistan on new year eve and out going US Ambassador to UN states that she will ensure Pakistan doesn't even get a penny, US congress motioning Baluchistan independence debate etc shows me a little different picture but maybe all of them are just isolated incidents and its just a happy coincidence for India that they favor Indian stance

yes after the Massacre of Pakistani relief convey a month or so ago before black hawk down
the Western media mocked the Pakistani dead that were ambushed by Somalians. the articles were condescending and degrading towards Pakistan and Pakistan army.

the western media was so hostile that in one instance they even staged Somalis to lay down on roads as the Pakistani vehicles passed by and took pictures to show as if Pakistanis had just killed them at random to avenge the death of their comrades.

the same media then cried when few Americans got killed in Black Hawk down and there was just a passing reference to Pakistani help

.
LeGend has it that it was US who save Pakistani's and Malaysian soldiers . US needs no help ever, :pop::pop::pop:
