AASM is $200,000 each compared to a $20,000 JDAM. overkill if they are used to kill rats, but Rafale+AASM could be game changing if war broke out against Israel.

So far against rats we've seen them use mostly Hellfires off Apaches and AGM-65 Maverick and GBU-12 and Mk-82's from F-16s, but they have GBU-14's,15's, 24's, 31's, 32's and also Mk 83, 84 dumb bombs. All the American munitions they've had in their inventory for a while and can always order more which is probably why they're using them extensively, especially the GBU-12 it seems.

They've also used the lightly armed CAIG Wing Loong in Libya.
