Thar Coal Mine produces over 2 million tons of coal over last six months, according to a spokesman of the project.

Coal is still the most cost effective way to produce energy in the world at this time. Developed countries still rely heavily on coal for their energy needs. Pakistan has always underutilized coal. Hopefully it will be used more now and it will save billions in foreign exchange.

Yes but the time is fast changing and now greener tech is becoming more cost effective.

Rather than using this coal for energy generation this is high time to use it for polymer industry as hydro carbon is the new gold
