I want to use this thread to thank you the Turkish Republic and her people. In hour of need Turkey has been first to categorically show support to Pakistan. To all Turks Pakistani's will not forget this. We may have some differances but this shows Turkey stands by Pakistan when we face 1.4 billion horde from the polluted plains of the Ganga - India and are outnumbered 7 to one.

And as a practical demonstration of that Turkey will oppose Indian participation in the upcoming OIC meet.

Once again thank you Turkey.

Turkey announces to 'categorically' stand by Pakistan in face of Indian aggression

Turkey has "categorically" announced to stand by Pakistan and its people in the face of Indian aggression, Radio Pakistan reported.


Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu shared these sentiments in a telephonic conversation with his counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi.



According to Qureshi, Cavusoglu also declared to oppose the upcoming OIC meeting in Abu Dhabi if the Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was given an opportunity to speak during the meeting.

No real surprise here. Relations between Pakistan and Turkey have always been close, much closer than what is considered the norm. Calling it brotherly would not be far from the truth. In fact, relations between Pakistan and Turkey are much closer than Pakistan's relationship with either Saudi Arabia or China.
