Why should we thank the Supreme Court?

• These judges took a wrong decision by taking up Qasim Suri's (NA speaker is also one of the few constitutional offices) ruling against VONC.. and decided against that ruling without even opening the sealed envelop containing the cipher. That cipher is still in the SC.
• The same judges didn't move when police and rangers beat ordinary citizens, including women and children, on May 25 2022.
• The same judges didn't do anything when Imran Khan, who is the most popular leader and the chairman of the largest political party, wanted to file a simple FIR and he was denied that right. He appealed, but couldn't wake them up.
• The same chief justice didn't take a sou motto when JIT on Imran Khan's case was dissolved when its members revealed the ill designs to kill Imran Khan.
• The same chief justice couldn't do anything to support Arshad Sharif's family to ensure a proper FIR is filed.
• The same chief justice haven't moved till now on the constant disrespect of his office by the criminal enterprise, who he himself installed by not taking any action on the case of disqualification of members of a political party going against party instructions.
• He didn't move an inch when the videos of swine trading in Sindh house surfaced.

If a chief judge wants, he can make everyone follow the law. In Pakistan, constitution has protected the chief and other judges more than the Army Chief and even the President. They can ensure rule of law if they want. Last one year has shown that the current judges are not interested in the rule of law.

Don't get emotional on just one decision that was a simple 5 minute interpretation of the constitution (actually, even interpretation was not required according to an ex Judge of the Indian Supreme Court). The bench under the same judge gave a questionable verdict by allowing the EC to take "minimum delay after 90 days" (when even one day's delay is not allowed in the constitution) without defining what is the minimum allowed delay.

There is a reason our judiciary is at 140th position in the world. Because of their casual attitude, I am sure that elections won't be conducted on May 14 as well. These judges (all of them) should be fired from their posts.

The Military Inc won’t go down without a fight.

Even if it comes to elections they will be able to rig the elections so as to turn PTI into a minority and have the hotch potch PDM coalition continue ruling Pakistan.

PTI has to be well prepared for any eventualities during elections.

Because the decision made NS angry and made COAS more compliant to both NS and DG ISI. Hence, the DG's chances to be the next COAS are there, coupled with DGC Faisal takes directions directly from MN.

Now, either Bandyal will go and gets replaced by Faiz Isa prematurely. Or SS would get disqualified for disobeying SC, providing a weak victim card to PMLN. Or Asim would go strict, get defamed/unpopular more and be ejected as COAS or the army gets weaker thus making NS a defacto PM/COAS etc.
