In TAI's website, Hürjet's name can be seen as "hurkus-tek-kuyruk" in the url of the picture, so maybe they are still not certain about which desing it will has?

both L-15 and M-346 started from Yak-130. M-346 is a Italian version of Yak-130. Yakovlev worked as a consultant at the concept design of L-15 under some MOU .The engineering development was done by Hongdu. Also to fit in engine with afterburner, L-15 has a different rear fuselage.
M-346 is competing for USA AF’s T-X program. So there is a chance USA，Russia and China have similar trainer.
it is a beautiful plane.

something's not right here the numbers don't seem to match with Wikipedia entries of these airplanes
