Texas Allows Carrying Gun without a Permit

. . . . . . . . . .
Good move imo
In areas of Pakistan (nowadays I feel almost everyone in Pak has access to a gun if they really want to get one (in rural areas, cites its still kinda hard unless you are a proper criminal), but I am talking about back in the day) where they had guns, their cultures were more equal between rich and a poor man, less oppression and tyranny in their society cause if you oppress people it can always turn deadly so you better be careful

only some can understand American mindset...
Guns can somewhat solve the oppression problem, gov always needs to make to move hand in hand with the people

Point is people will kill each, try to oppress but guns are an equalizer, give the other party a fighting chance, in the end create some sort of peace in society, serve as deterrence

But guns shouldn't reach urban population centers, they're bad for cities not so much for rural areas

Does it matter?
Every couple of months, we hear of a deranged man going rampant at public with a gun with no regard to his own life. How will unrestrained sale and use of guns help such situations? In fact, Japan model should be followed where gun use is very very strict.

Some key excerpts from the article

" 0.6 guns per 100 people in 2007, according to the Small Arms Survey, compared to 6.2 in England and Wales and 88.8 in the US. "
"If you have very few guns in society, you will almost inevitably have low levels of violence."
" Japanese police officers rarely use guns and put much greater emphasis on martial arts "
"The response to violence is never violence, it's always to de-escalate it. Only six shots were fired by Japanese police nationwide [in 2015],"

But you can't change it now, like no practical way to take guns away from people

You can't go the Japan way, so only way out now is more guns so people with guns can protect themselves against the bad guys

It's deterence
