why do you have an Iranian flag when you're not Iranian?

You can't even speak Parsi.

What's your story?

Kollang doesn't seem to realize three things.

First, drones don't fly in Balochistan, other than US drones in Afghanistan's and Iran's part of Balochistan.

Secondly, how can Kollang simply say 'we should bomb' Pakistan when Iran's military capability is like a mosquito compared with Pakistan? Hell, they had a tough time against Iraq, while we dealt with the Indians, Israelis, and the Soviets. (Now, I'll argue that the Americans are at proxy war with our ISI). And oh yeah. We're doing this with out any oil wealth, which makes of 95+% of Iran's economy. We have past what Iran is suffering today (the sanctions and anti-world sentiments) in the 1990s.

Third, the whole of the west, India, Israel, China and Russia are having a nice group together in Afghanistan. A country that shares borders with Balochistan from the west and east. Ever given a thought that they might be involved with destablizing Iran (as well as Pakistan) somehow to create an independent Balochistan state to make it easier for Israel and others to become more dominate?

First kollang never said we should bomb Pakistan.

Second (and I don't mean to cause offence) I thought Pakistan has never won a war in history? You even lost your own civil war. While we fought not only Iraq, but the whole of the western and Arab world in the Iran-Iraq war.

To your second paragraph; your opinion. Opinions varies.

To your first point;
s i said we have any right to destroy those wahhabi bastards holes in any country.hopefully we have shahed-129 UAV for such a purpose.

salam dada.this is because Pakistan never accept his responsiblity against the terrorists in his soil.those terrorists always used to escape to Pakistan after they do their mission in Iran.like US and turkey who attack the terrorists bases in Pakistan and Iraq.we should do the same.

Let me tell you something honestly about my country. There were good and bad things, which includes wars.

You know that India is our enemy. I will start from the past. Pakistan received no weapons despite signing agreements that the British were supposed to give right after Independence. In the 65 war, Pakistanis defended itself with hardly any guns or aircrafts. People literally gave lives under Indian Army Tanks. We even achieved freedom for Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmiris. During this post war era, General Ayub khan (the guy on my avatar) had made Pakistan in the list of fastest growing economy in South Asia. From PIA, to Suparco, to rapid Industrialization. Believe it or not, our GDP growth rate touched down to 9.5%. This in my view was Pakistan's best period of being self-sufficient.

Now i'll come the 70s, which saw yet another war, which India happily celebrates. This war was a civil war between West Pakistan and East Pakistan. I hope you are educated enough because if you look where East Pakistan is, i think you'll agree our hardship. With India (world's 7th largest country), in between, it was an impossible win for West Pakistanis to actually protect everything. For another truth, East Pakistan was not even supposed to be part of Pakistan. There is no relationship ethnically, culturally, and linguistically. It is still today written in the Lahore resolution (from 1940) that East Pakistan will become a new state. Even one of our founding fathers Chaudhry Rehmet Ali had that in mind. Now that rules were not followed, this stupid war, which i agree was not needed, had only created more trouble. Unlike what most countries would do after independence, most Bangladeshis still consider Pakistan as an ally. After the post war, Pakistan continued its economic prosperity. People from countries like South Korea, Malaysia, and UAE used to come for education and they thought of us as a role model. In another note, even your country, Iran had the best of times with us. Wars are won and lost however, it was India who still resisted and did not accept our creation. They secretly worked on the nuclear program and tested it. Pakistan, under the rulership of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, order to make its own.

Now come to the 80s. Here, we had Soviet Union (A super-power) on one end and India (a nuclear power) on the other end of the border. May god bless Shaheed General Zia-ul-Haq, he beat the hell out of everyone. Why isn't Russia a superpower anymore, well i would say to anyone who has no knowledge, go figure! This might shock a lot of people and not make sense to alot of people, but Pakistan's economy reached to a 10% growth side by side.

Now the 90s became interesting as Pakistan, under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif tested its nuclear bombs. India previously tested 3, however, we went ahead surpassing them with 4. Still this fooking enemy didn't give up. They used Israel to use its air power to destroy Pakistani nuke plants. You might have heard of the term 'ISI' before. If not, its our intelligence agency and they were very cleaver enough to to know it already. Before Israel could actually get inside Pakistan, our Air Force was already hovering in the air.

Now you tell me, should we or should we not deserve the right to fight for self defence?

Thanks for your post.

Of course like every other nation you deserve the right to self defence. I also apologise to you and also other posters like Desert Fox who I may have offended. I was angry that posters like Imran Khan and JonAsad where threatening my country.

Could you please go into more detail about Pakistan's conflict with Soviet Russia? By this did you mean the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, or is it something else?

.
Again why are you guys fighting? The Iranians are our neighbors, friends and brothers.

What they seem to not realize is that when their government tells our government who is causing problems we go and take care of the problem. We do work together more than the media shows.

So why are you guys fighting with each other?

The problem is Baluch terrorists, not Iranians or Pakistanis.

John Asad is living in Saudi Arabia. As myself, a Pakistani born in Saudi Arabia, i know that there are rules you have to follow while living there, so i don't blame him. I have seen him get frustrated with Saudis at some stage, but then he covers it up. You know what i mean.... As far as Imran Khan is concerned, even he has lived in Saudi Arabia before. Other than that, i don't know him much and his views on Iran. You don't need to apologize brother, most Pakistanis love Iranians. Its always better to ignore those few who have not been well educated about our past experiences.

To your question now:
Soviet Union aspired to get expand its territories to Afghanistan. Like other powers such as NATO, they thought of it as an ideal place for strategic activities in the middle East. Most people would know what i mean because the U.S (its archival) had its bases there. Now where does Pakistan come in to play? Well India was one of the biggest ally of Soviet Union. Their Prime Minister was sitting in Russia, literally every other week to make them take on Pakistan as well. I'd say it was natural for Russia to hate us as we choose to side with the United States right after partition. While two war fronts had to be faced, one half of Pakistani Army and as was trying to make sure Indians didn't go into Gilgit Baltistam Azad Kashmir, Kargil, and Siachin, to capture it, and didn't try to nuke bomb us. The other half fuelled the 'mujahideens' to get inside Afghanistan to stop the Soviet invasion. At times, the USSR Air Force crossed in to Pakistan, however they were either shot down by our F-16s or were forced to flee back. Overall, some hundreds of thousands died. Pakistan's main objective was to protect the region and itself from being part of an ugly union/ from indian dominance.

R.I.P. to those that have died.

Do Pakistanis see it as a wrong move to have supported the Taliban back then? Because the Taliban now is causing all sorts of problems in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Also I have heard that Taliban only allows Pashtuns to join. Why is that since they are a sunni group and most Pakistanis are also sunni? Do they have any aspirations for separatism and of creating Pashtunistan?

I think this is hard to put every thing together, but i'll try.

I believe there was no choice. back then. Taliban, was not only made by Pakistan, but also by Afghanistan and United States. Back then, these three countries often termed them as 'freedom fighters', so in a nutshell, you can say that the role in fighting against was different back then. As i stated before, apart from Soviet Union, Pakistan was facing threats from nuclear India. Indians found themselves in a position to take advantage of no mans land portion and as well as Pakistani controlled portion of Kashmir.

There was also a point when Pakistani diplomacy managed to find ways to take advantage of the Soviet war as well. The U.S was thinking as if we are controlled by them in every possible way. However, the interesting part came, when Pakistanis were keeping their nuclear program alive.

When we tested our nuclear weapons in 1998. From here on then, the United States was shocked that its intelligence failed. It quickly put sanctions on us. I guess the Taliban today has many types. There is 1.) that wants sharia law, 2.) that wants power in AfPak, and 3,) that wants to just 'defend'. So really if you ask me, i would say that the first two are after Pakistan and the last one is after the U.S.

Now i'll get into details. The first two are after Pakistan, since they have been bought by the U.S and India together to go after our military assets and the destabilization of the country. Often you hear our Air Bases being attacked, Indian weapons being captured by Pak security forces, U.S scaring the world about terrorists going after nukes, and the U.S congress in support of Balochistan independence. The 3rd type of Taliban i point out is probably the one Pakistan uses to take revenge. In a way you can say that all this fighting is a proxy war.

Now the sunni and pashtunistan is a very good question. I believe they are sunni because Saudi Arabia too got involved. They told Pakistan and Afghanistan that they were after rehabilitation and aid work, however, in fact they actually went in there to build madrasas and left them funded. As far as Pashtunistan is concerned, the movement died decades ago. Again nothing goes away permanently, there are some who support that, but i doubt Taliban has got anything to do with it
