I don't think there is anyway for the police could stop the attack. Even it was Army it was possible they achieve in killing some people. as attacker comes without any fear of death, and start firing.

The only way it could be stopped was they intercept well before, which did not happen. Intelligence had information, but never had exact location, and which minorities are going to be attacked. This is why this happen. I don't believe any inside or a sane person will help them in any case. unless there is some international motive behind this

International motive is there. Destablizing Pakistan , putting fear in locals , and by starting a sectarian violence they can achieve tht.
I was thinking it being very long tht we are fighting a WOT and there was no attack on minorities by these scums.
