home department and intelligence agencies were issueing warnings and in news papers many reports came that terrorists were planning attacks against minorities and opposing sects but unfortunately our police failed to take appropriate measures

yea, but without any specific information the police couldnt act and take any measure, that warning might have been a general hint with no details.

it looks like it has been a well planned attack. trust me without some sympathizers or helpers inside, they wouldnt have been able to carry out such a deadly attack.

because when terrorists arrived they opened fire and were going non stop untill they downed many civilians...

I don't think there is anyway for the police could stop the attack. Even it was Army it was possible they achieve in killing some people. as attacker comes without any fear of death, and start firing.

The only way it could be stopped was they intercept well before, which did not happen. Intelligence had information, but never had exact location, and which minorities are going to be attacked. This is why this happen. I don't believe any inside or a sane person will help them in any case. unless there is some international motive behind this

first of all it is not hard to go to a mosque(as everyone is allowed).
so one of the terrorists probably went down there and observed the mosque....
if it was some high security building then ya....

the fact is the terrorists had intitiative and advantage of surprize which allowed them to enter
secondly its hot weather and in Pakistan and Afghanistan people wear baggy cloths which may be used to hide weapons without inviting attention

They have nice shooter ,Elite Force , but they are not trained for sniping or stuff like tht.

Being a Friday, all places of worship would be crowded with people offering prayers. The other angle seen to the attack is that in last two days of operations by Pakistan military, over 80 scumbags have been wasted hence they are running helter skelter to create chaos and panic hitting soft targets to divert attention.

its a miracle if terrorists are caught alive

I hope prosecution build a strong case otherwise the judiciary will throw it away.
To date every terrorist & murderer has walked free from Pakistani courts because

1. the prosecution builds a half hearted & weak case
2. the judiciary is pro-taliban specially from Musharaf time in an act of defiance to his rule & continues to do so due to its tussle with Zardari.

dont ask our police is best in chitrol and thats what our leaders want

as for training and weapons and condition of their weapons...well its heart breaking story.

I some time think that we have super police which do 19 to 20 hour duty 24/7 with less salary and more disgrace and disrespect from its seniours and public but still at the end perform to some extent
