Terror attack in Gurdaspur, India

Somehow Pakistan has let their long delayed success against the TTP to go to their heads. They think they have now got the desired breathing space to restart their nonsense against us.

That is the problem. Shanti se jiyaa nahin jaata. Ungal to karni hai.

Without any proof these idiot Indian authorities are blaming Pakistan for this attack...........We need to reciprocate the same after every terrorist attack in Pakistan(God forbid)....If they want to get low then we should get low too.....

my friends sasural is in gurdaspur he asked his salla he told that the palce is just a few hundred meters from their home and locals around were told in the morning itself that their were 5 gunmen as they had taken postion against security forces in 5 dirffrent points which they kept changing fast

its difficult to know the number early on in the engagement, some reports say 1 taken alive some say 4 killed, some say 3 killed. Lets wait for the official report.

i think 3 killed and one taken into custody off the record? Because there was 4 militants as per injured policeman include one female terrorist.? Any reports?

Gurdaspur: Mother India's sons have once again given the supreme sacrifice to restore her honour. All the terrorists who hijacked a car, drove down to this town in Punjab`s Gurdaspur district, opened fire at bus stand and then stormed a police station have been eliminated but they have left behind serious questions for the nation to ponder upon.

Question 1: While no terror outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack, media reports claim that the terrorists had launched the attack from across the border in Pakistan – bringing forth the big question whether India can do any anything about Pakistan sponsored cross-border terror. Also, the Modi government will now have to 'walk the talk' in taking a hard line against Pakistan.

Question 2: Indian intelligence establishment will have a lot of answering to do given that they failed to provide specific input to security forces on the ground about the possibility of such an attack.

Question 3: Does the attack point to the revival of militancy in Punjab? While security agencies have been warning of ISI's plan to trigger unrest in Punjab, little appears to have been done to curb the menace at its bud.
